Image thumbnail feature enabled

I prefer seeing the pictures as they are intended to be posted rather than thumbnails. I don't like having to open up other windows if I don't have to, plus some of the joy is in how you or other posters format and present their pictures. Having the option is of course the way to please everyone. Good one on linking to Imageshack.

I definatly prefer to see the pics at full size. (but not oversize) I think the thumbnails adversly effect the presentation of GOTM spoiler threads and the SG reports. And I think it ruined the Civ4 Screenshots thread.

But I suppose it's a good thing for those with dial-up. And I suppose it'll encourage people to use Imageshack and Photobucket instead of using CFCs server. But doggonit I dislike those thumbnails.

As far as the babe thread goes, I don't like thumbnails. I tend to read that thread quickly, so usually pass on thumbnailed pics.

It also takes shorter to completely load pages.
Yeah, but really it's a lost savings. Most people who want to go to a thread with a lot of pictures do so to see the pictures, thus they have to load the tumbnail and the picture itself!

After much thought I like this feature, especially when used in conjunction with the Uploads feature. I primarily post in the SG thread so sometimes using Upload is more convenient to the post.

One question I have is how do you attach a thumbnail in the middle of the page rather than at the bottom? I checked out one post and he had:

When you attach a screenshot to your post are you given a file name that is "a bunch of numbers"? Basically I don't always want to have my screenshot located at the bottom of the page.

One nice thing with the attachments is it allows me to delete all the screenshots and saved game files from my User CP after the SG is complete. This way I don't have to send TF a list of files which never seem to be removed. Guess TF just doesn't have the time. ;) It also saves wasting space on the Uploads folder.

Edit: Found the information here. The thing is do I attach the file to my post than just right click it and copy the file name inbetween the attack vb code? Basically the same way you do an image file from the Uploads folder?
