It's been a long while since I've played it, but was anyone else into it?

I played it, still do occasionaly. It was a really good game, ONCE you figured out how to play it. By no exaggeration do I say it is one of the hardest games Ive ever played. An early industrial and military expansion is key to winning. I also got Imperailism II but I found it less fun due to the introduction of the new world. It was a pain to manage both the old and new world.
