My point was that Rome could have asked the Japanese to demand something else instead of embargoing the people that were until recently Rome's allies because Christos was otherwise occupied to begin with.

i got the impression that the terms were as good as its going to get. i didn't want to risk losing his generosity by suggesting some other measure. he did have every right to make it like the treaty of varsallies, only worse.

And it goes without saying you said in no uncertain terms you now view the regime you were partaking in a international mission against until recently as your ally. A 180 like that does not entitle to say what is and isn't proper diplomacy, nor to claim that calling your actions for what they are somehow makes us the International bad guy.

since when did i view Japan as an ally?

Rome is in no shape to bring peace to Greece. The Greeks are disgruntled, and Rome has lost most of her able-bodied soldiers. If we were to just let Rome bring peace to Greece, it would in fact have an adverse affect to the net world peace, not increase it.

Annete Renard didn't know why Hiver called her here, but she was about to find out.

In the middle of Paris, a huge mob of angry women surrounded the Conseil d'Etat like an army of marauding knights seigeing a castle. With screaming, megaphones, and noisemakers creating an unholy symphony of chaos and resentment, it felt like this protest could get violent at any second. In a way, Annette didn't exactly blame them; their ineffective response to the destruction of Caen. The Nationals and Venus refused to work with each other, instead preferring to bicker with each other on the finer details of relief plans. Simply put, neither wanted money pulled out of programs they supported, and while the foreign relief plans offered by Texarkana and Indonesia seemed like a godsend in that regards, the populace itself was against the idea of foreign mendogs coming to France's aid.

Thus a political stalemate drove a wedge in the French senate, while the survivors of Caen slowly die in agonizing pain. The slowly decaying power of the French government ever since the death of Pettigrew grew more and more abundant, and French people are demanding an end to it. Annette perfectly understood all of this.

But why do I need to be here?

Suddenly, Annette heard someone cry for her name behind her, away from the massed mob of people. She spun around, and she could see a familiar blonde woman run up to her, eagerly excited to see her. Annette waved to her, and the blonde woman waved back.

"Jeannete," Annette greeted, "You called for us to meet here?"

The host of Good Morning France nodded. Annette could see a bulge from one of the pockets of the tv show host, a small grey handle of a pistol. Annette knew she never carried a gun with her normally, and with the general chaos in Paris, a news anchor who was packing heat was probably one of the last sights the author wanted to see.

"Annette, it's time for France to wake up," Hiver callously said.

Annette's eyebrows raided. "What are you suggesting, Jeannette?"

"The time for talking is clearly over," Jeannette passionately responded, "It's gotten us nowhere in the past few months. They claim elections will happen soon, but we know the two parties will bicker with each other to death before they ever happen. The Senate wants to sell us out to Indonesia and Texarkana, screw the integrity of the Matriarchy, just because they can't decide if the money should come out of castrating men or general welfare. The Germans are about to attack us, the Irish are about to attack us, and hell, even the Japanese would attack us if they think they could get away with it. Everyone is pissed nothing is happening, but goddessdammit I'll make something happen."

"Wait, you aren't-"

"Yes, Annette. France needs leadership. Now. I'm bringing it to them. And you're going to help me. Almost everyone in France loves you, to the point of if something happened to you, people would riot." The blonde woman started to smile after saying that, matched with a glare that suddenly made Annette very nervous.

"And... what are you suggesting by that?," Annette quivered out.

Hiver grabbed her pistol from her pocket. "It's very loud out there; barely anyone would even notice a gun going off. If I shot you-"

"NO," Annette practically screamed.

"Don't worry, I don't have plans to kill you. Just a grazing shot in the leg. I can blame that on the police. That would certainly get them infuriated. Then it would be a simple matter of telling them they have nothing to lose, and soon we will control France. Temporary pain now, and then I'll get you the best treatment in all of Europe. And if you try to resist or f*** this up, I can just use your corpse to the same effect, while making sure your brother feels the same. So what will it be, Renard? Your leg or the heads of your family?"

Annette froze. This is not happening, she screamed in her mind, Hiver did not just turn into a psychopath. However, her attempt to calm herself proved futile when she felt the cold barrel placed right next to her head, Jeannette's breathing near her ears. The anchor was 100% serious about going through with this, and the author just wanted to break down and cry. And then Charles, she would go after her too...

"Just... make it quick. In the leg."

Jeannette nodded. "I knew you were a reasonable woman, Annette. I'm sorry it had to go this way, but you proved your dedication and strength. You'll make a great vice president."

As Jeannette predicted, the gun's roar of brimstone and fire was for the most part muffled out by the roaring anger of the crowd. Annette immediately screamed out in pain, grasping the leg in which the bullet her former idol just shot. Before anyone turned around and noticed, Jeannette threw the pistol into the gutter, and then grabbed the brown-haired woman. Carrying her, Jeannette threw the pair of them into the crowd.

"Everyone," Hiver yelled, "They shot Annette Renard. The Police shot Annette Renard for trying to come here!"

Quickly, the crowd started to stop yelling, flabbergasted at the news that they were hearing. Was it really true? Are the police finally trying to crack down on the protesters, especially in such a violent way? It seemed patently absurd, yet Annette's bleeding leg was evidence enough that someone had shot her. However, when Annette confirmed Hiver's story, the suspicion died almost instantly. The situation, already bad, was now getting worse.

Jeannette gave the bleeding author to a nearby protesters, with the instructions to bring her to the closest hospital. With part one complete, all she had to do was just give a speech or two telling people to attack...

---

Salzburg, 30 minutes later

Yvette couldn't believe her eyes. First, there was a school shooting, then a missile attack which almost killed her, and to top it off, a meteor completely wiped Caen off the map. France was already in the gutters, but what was going on now scared her than everything else combined. The exiled president turned up the volume of her telveision, not wanting to miss a thing.

"Live from Paris", a reporter who's name Yvette didn't know nor care about said, "The protesters in front of Conseil d'Etat had finally broken through the police barricade and stormed the legislative capital of France. Eyewitnesses claimed this was a retaliation from the shooting of beloved author of Annette Renard, who was planning a surprise visit to rally the protesters.

Allegedly, the mob was being led by TV star Jeannette Hiver, who inspired the crowd to avenge the weeks of injustice and take power back from the corrupt transitional government and-"

The reporter hastily zoomed her camera onto the steps of the Conseil d'Etat. A single blonde woman, flanked by women carrying guns, started to walk out of the building, to the applause of those still outside. Carrying a megaphone, she demanded the silence of the crowd, which quickly obliged.

"Hold on," the reporter continued, "It appears Jeannette herself had just exited the building, and is trying to say something..."

Thanks to the news crew moving towards the speaker and the relative quietness of the crowd, Yvette was able to hear what the woman was saying. Whether she wanted to or not, however, was a different story.

"Ladies of France," Hiver started to say, "Today, I announce the period of anarchy is over. No longer will France be threatened by a corrupt, decadent government that does nothing when a city is wiped off the map and shoots their own citizens. Today, we will no longer sell ourselves out to the dirty maledogs, who seek the destruction of the Matriarchy and the enslavement of women worldwide. Today, I announce that I am the President of France, effectively immediately".

The fact the crowd started to cheer for this sickened Yvette. Her prayers that a crazed woman like her wouldn't take power in her absence were not only unanswered, but the people of France welcomed it. All the work she ever did as a President, managing the increasing revanchism of her own citizens with the cold, harsh reality of the world were about to go down the drain.

"Effective immediately, the Senate of France is hereby dissolved. They are traitors to the French republic, and they will be tried as such. The President shall henceforth take all the powers bestowed to the Senate for herself, until the crisis is over. Not the crisis of Caen, but the crisis of France itself. Surrounding us is the Germans, the Irish, who all hate our way of life, waiting for the opportune moment to destroy everything we ever had worked for.

We will not wait while the patriarchy schemes to destroy us. In the next 24 Hours, I will convene with the remaining elements of the Army, and discuss the best ways to survive the incoming storm. I will promise we will match the Germans, we will match the Irish, and we will match anyone who ever threatens us. Peace can only be obtained through the barrel of a gun, and we will make sure France has the biggest barrel of them all.

Finally, I hereby decree all international 'aid' organizations to leave France henceforward. We will recover ourselves; we do not need you dirty maledogs to patronize us. Our society is superior to all, and we will demonstrate it by rising out of the ashes of two incompetent administrations in a row by ourselves.

I will have further news later when the anarchy dies down. Until then, may the Goddess save France and the Matriarchy!"

Before she could hear the crowd cheer again, Yvette turned the TV off. "Zhakov," Yvette yelled, "We got a huge problem!"

Sorry had to finish this now, so it's short and rushed.

well, i suppose you are right. the Bosphorus is now Open to Russia.

You have helped make the world a much more peaceful place, my friend.

Finally, an introduction to the new Russia!

Russian Soviet Federation

ussr-emblem1.png

Government: After the New Revolution, the government was massively restructured. The Volgan Federation for all intents and purposes ceased to be. The presidents were ousted, and before long the country that rose from Volga had a single leader, Supreme Vanya Markovic. The Supreme acts as both the head of government and the head of state within the RSF. The Supreme picks out his Cabinet from a pool a various people.

The Supreme is selected from the highest Soviet in all the Districts, the Soviet of the Union. Members of such are voted on by other leaders of the various soviet districts, who are in turn voted in but the populace of their respective districts. The only party in the RSF is the Mezhraiontsy. In order to be eligible to be voted into an office, there are minimum requirements to be met and the Proletarian Security Centre will more than likely do a background check. The SU also selects those it deems eligible for the Supreme to have on his Cabinet.

Economy: Education and healthcare are nationalized and paid for by taxes. The country’s economy is planned by district by way of decentralised planning. Factories and RGOs are geared to produce what the community needs and then produces a surplus of goods the federal government orders. A District is often assisted by other districts if they do not meet production quotas, although more emphasis is put on production that helps meet the production quotas over the coming seasons.

Society: Since the Mezhraiontsy took power, Russia has become increasingly atheist and far more dedicated to technological innovation than the old Volgan regime. While still technologically backwards, the people of Russia are resolute in making Russia as efficient as possible to make the dream of communism come true.

Military: At present, the military is poorly-equipped albeit quite large. Although a rumored secret elite task force is said to have considerably modern technology, most of the military simply dreams of this luxury. However, as the economy is steadily experiencing the surplus sought after in socialist theory, it is said that soon the Supreme will command production be aimed towards modernizing the Soviet Army, although none of this has been confirmed or denied by the federal government.

Security: The main security agency of the RSF is the Proletarian Security Centre, which at present only acts inside the RSF itself. The PSC is slated to be scrapped and its assets moved to a much more powerful organization pending on an appeal to the Spetsnaz order, rumored to be hiding out in small villages and towns throughout the RSF.

the Emperor of the Roman Empire is deeply concerned of Frances sudden change to a dictator regime. they are a threat to every non matriarchal nation, including the Roman Empire.

we cannot take any action, right now. but we will watch them. closely.

Hello class. Today, we'll be talking about:

THE GENERAL GLOBAL PEACE EQUATION

First off, let's talk about what the General Global Peace Equation is. Basically, in the least mathematical terms, the GGPE represents the quota for peace of the world in a basic, modular equation represented in terms of time and nations selected. Now, it must be noted that the GGPE is actually very recent. Only just this year have Chinese and Russian scientists and statisticians collaborated to find a modular equation to identify the peace quota, as well as an astounding work by our very own top in the world Sìchuān Dàxué statisticians having developed the idea of the constant q, which we'll begin discussing today, but will cover in greater depth next week.

Let's get on to it.

We'll start with the proof. So, let's take the general peace trend for an arbitrary amount of time and call it P(t) in years t, where amount of peace P is a statistically derived figure from various national statistics compiled by statisticians. From here, we assume that the P(t) function is unchanged by arbitrary constants, and even if so, we can subtract the same constant C prior to manipulating the equation. Regardless, let's take the Gaussian integral of P(t). With arbitrary endpoints, we can assume the integral to define a certain peace quota that is applicable for a time period defined by the endpoints arbitrarily placed above. Now, in order to fully make the global peace quota applicable to and composed of individual national peace quotas, we take the Lebesque method integral of the same integrable area. However, due to the variable statistical averages of the differing nations, without loss of generality we can multiply the lengths of the Lebesque rectangles by a factor directly proportional to the peace figure of each nation as well as a fixture variable. As such, we can thus represent the amount of peace P both as the P(t) function as well as the summation of the individual peace functions of separate nations, which, without loss of generality we can apply the same concepts to these individual nations. As such, we have a telescoping recurring integrable function for P of the world regarding arbitrary individual nations as well as t in years.

Therefore, our General Equation for Peace is thus:

P(t)=∫ΣF(t)dt for F(t) being the general function for peace of individual nations, which we can express as:

F(t)=qt*0.01+C

Where q is the general individuality constant determined by aforementioned statisticians and C is an arbitrary constant corresponding to the nation's position in the Lebesque integration.

Any questions? We only have around five or so minutes left, so let's keep it brief.

[...]

Alright, it looks like that's all the time we have for today.

Next class, we'll be covering the language of maths and its application to the world today, as well as start our discussions in preparation for the Global Science Conference.

See you all soon, and homework will be posted soon.

I love this and everything about this.

The current q value for the Roman Empire is 0.0123, down from last year's 0.5987, which can be attributed to the recent military disaster, as well as closer to home problems with neighbors and rising tensions with Russia.

Sorry if it's boring I need to get used to doing this stuff again.

"Damn them, damn them all. They think they can try to leave my country and form their own right outside the borders!" Konstanty was clearly outraged by the recent attempts to form a nation by the rebels trying to take over the government."Sir if I may make a suggestion, call them polish expansions to hide from the world the fact that we are being attacked from the inside?" He would have to be careful here or else he might become a head shorter. "Damnit Benedykt I plan on doing that what would the other nations thing of us if they knew we are on the verge of a civil war! The Non-Aggression pact we signed with the German Empire would be useless! I thought that would have been enough to make my people happy but they clearly don't want to feel safe, they are asking for slaughter. Don't they know what a challenge it is to reform a nation on the borders of one so powerful?"

Benedykt himself being a rebel sympathizer had a foot in both camps and was secretly hoping Konstanty was taken out of power. "At least we still have the Non-Aggression pact I believe the German Empire will honor their agreements with us." Konstanty seemed to be getting angrier with every word he said. "Yes but what if they don't Benedykt than this nation that i have been planning on creating my whole life will be destroyed and I will just be another man lost in the history books!" He was getting less angry and more impatient. " If they do manage to attack us what then? our military is lacking no one wants to join because they all wish to destroy you." Konstanty grew somber at this point. "Maybe we should let them. Whats the point in ruling if no one wants you to rule?" Benedykt was thinking about leaving the room at this point when Konstanty interrupted his thought. "Bring in the prisoner." The guards entered flanked by a ragged man in ragged clothes. You could see many things in his eyes hatred, bravery, but fear was not one of them.

If anything he should have been afraid. At this point the interrogator walked in the room no one knew his real name, he refused to speak it, so we all just called him captain. When he looked closer at the prisoner he recognized him. It was one of his friends from boyhood. They used to talk about how one day they would recreate Poland with themselves as the leaders and heroes of the country. Now he was forced to watch him be tortured. The questions where always the same "Where is your main force?", "Who is your leader?", and "How many of you are there?" Benedykt knew the answer to those questions already. He was the one who organized the Rebels and placed himself at the top so he could remove Konstanty from power. He had the support the only thing standing in the way was Konstanty's personal guard they would be difficult to convince but with the right persuasion and the right amount of money you can do anything. He planned on removing him from power sometime in the Fall season, but if the times where right he would have to act. He knew the captain of Konstanty's guard and he was a fiercely loyal man, but every man has their price. And his was high he reached it nonetheless. Now all that was left to do is wait for Konstanty to make a vital mistake. And then he would be the hero of Poland, just like he always dreamed.

The People's Militia would desire that the Russians are in vision to aid our mission to see Greece, Sicily, Sardinia and Libya all liberated from Platonic rule, so that a great beautiful rein of the Revolution may emerge. The songs of the peoples must come, which the so called Philosopher Council denies for their ego and power lust. We welcome Russia as long as its intentions are for the freedom of the peoples oppressed by the oppressors and even the oppressors themselves who oppress themselves by alienating themselves by oppressing.

The forces of religious backed Democratic Socialism, which Abu al-Fadl Abdulrashid dreams would be the foundation of a union of freed peoples, will have their day. We prey Russia would tolerate our dreams.

In light of the dog pile on the Platonic Republic, we offer the UAR, Indo-Persia, and Germany defensive treaties.
Done and done. Now do Wiggum!

(Will draft formal treaty later. Attempting to prevent aneurysm.)

Aneurysm? You still have a functioning brain? Colour me envious.

The freedom of Libya, Greece, Sardinia and Sicily will be earned. As Shahhat and Thessaloniki suffered under Platonic dictation so does other citizens oppressed by the self-proclaimed "most just society" which reeks of the injustices that the People's Militia strives against. Liberation will be conducted by the people for the people as the oppressed break their chains. The songs we sing will be for the peace that we strive for but we cannot see this peace as long as Takis Papadakis and his cronies continue to oppress. By God's design we must strive for the salvation of all under the Platonics and, in their liberation, create just societies united under a common banner of a greater good. God help us in our quest of liberation, for God helps those willing to liberate themselves! May the selfish be redeemed as we commence our great quest to free these lands from terror and war! Power to God's proudest creation; the People!
