ansar...it's 'très' but congrats on willing to learn french! Good luck.*

anyway my avatar is my family crest dating back from the the 17th century, a trend existed back then...it was to invent new family names so my first ancestor is Jean Richer dit Lafleche (some other sources say it was Jean-Baptiste II Richer dit LAfleche who started it...).

*P.S. once when I was like 11, I got teased because of my accent (french) but I ask the dude if he could speak french: He couldn't speak a word of it.

Heh, thanks. Looks tough, but hopefully I'll learn and become fluent :)

I already got the sorta french accent. My 'r' pronunciation is bad, like the French. ;)

we don't have a prob with 'r's, especially since many of our verbs contains 'r's, it's with the the 'h' (in english) that the problems starts...French is so much more complex than english...don't die trying grammar...

Well, I can sorta understand written French since I know Spanish. Ex. your last post in the other language thread:
Pourquoi que tu prends pas le temps d'apprendre l'anglais (écris) au lieu de dépendre sur une machine? C'est utile de l'apprendre!
It goes something like:
Why are you pretending ______ of learning english and being dependent on a machine? You are capable of learning!
Right? Or am I horribly wrong? :p

more like...'Why don't you take the time and learn english instead of being dependant on a machine. It's (english) useful to know!

Ah, so I was horribly wrong.

I didnt know what C'est or think that temps was time (in Spanish, it's tiempo). :wallbash:

Thanks! :)

StarCraft 2 is coming. :)

Hell, it's about time...

Yes, I believe so Bartlebini.

I can only spell it phonetically, so I'd guess I would have it wrong.

Thanks all! :)

Phonetically? "Parle vous anglais"? Surely a phonetic version would be "Parle' vu angle'"?

Well, I knew that vu is actually spelled vou, so why not correct it myself? :p In spanish, English is Ingles with, so since it had a "s" at the end, I assumed anglais did too.
