It's what I look like in an MRI photo at the plane of the cornea. The 'tentacles' are actually my olfactory nerves, and the 'brain' is part of my frontal cortex.

I chose it because it looks kinda Cthulhuesque

That's an MRI photo?

An MRI session takes dozens of photos, each at a different plane. You're not seeing anything behind or in front of that plane, just what's visible at that plane. So it's not like they just sliced the front of my face off, it's like they also sliced away everything behind that slice as well. And then they're only visualising a certain set of molecules (it's why you can't really see my bones either)

It's 100% authentic, it's just a unique perspective.
