And another note: If you buy a game and you find out that the code is already used, then you should complain to the vendor, because that really shouldn't happen. I hope you got your money back.

Considering the previous replies, the most obvious suggestion would be to turn it off during the installation (...and on afterwards, don't forget it). Not a really good overall advice, but I'm lacking a bit ideas atm :/.

You can exchange the error number to anything (even names, sentences, whatever), and you'll get nearly the same site. I removed the link.

I apologize. There is probably something at Microsoft on the subject. I know that I had a similiar problem and it fixed it. I also got rid of Norton, that caused it. I was not using Norton at the time, but it had a file that kept getting larger and when I deleted Norton, it freed up 4 Gigs of space. Whatever I downloaded fixed the registry that kept causing the error.
