Incorrect unlocks displayed when researching a new tech

I can see all unlocks, even unique ones for other civs, on the tech research notification popup when I research a new tech. Shouldn't they be limited to ones I can actually use? Also it would be nice if I could hover over the unlocks to get more details on them....

They shouldn't be limited to the ones you can use because this way you know when your opponent is becoming stronger. You can hover over unlocks to see a full list, and civopedia has all the info on everything. F1 is your friend.
