Whats ur fav Industrious leader? I want to wonder spam on my next game- so im wondering (heh) what the best Industrious is.

Louis is for me. Wee. Hee hee he (WTH)

Cre- +around 20 culture in total, ind trait just increases it further.

Sorry- left out bismark.... just post it.

Where's Otto? Bismark is awesome for Wonder spamming! The Assembly Plant UU, plus the Expansive trait to help mitigate the pollution are a force to be reckoned with.

Bismark?? GOD IM STUPID!

Anyway seems u voted rammy?

Why? just WONDERing! hehehhehhehehe!

Also- Bismarks UB doesnt take effect until late game.

Yeah, the German UB and UU are late game, meaning Bizz has no special advantages in early era's except the industrious trait. However, once that UB comes along, it really helps if you're playing SE and you're trying to spam great engineers.

I voted Louis, because Ive played many more games with him than the other Industrious leaders. If I decide to play Industrious, he (because of Creative, I have come to realise, which shows how nub-i-am) is the first leader I think of.

My actual favorite would be Rammy, he was instrumental in my learning the Oracle slingshot - Prolly learning the game (as opposed to civ 1 & 2, which played a bit quicker, and had alot less combos) overall, actually.

Friends/Gf would have had the most success with De Gaulle (esp Gf, if she doesnt get the wonder she wants, she goes and charismatically smashes people for it), prior to BTS Qin was chosen a few times, but overall, Friends/Gf seem to have recieved almost NO benefit from Ind as a trait, eventually realising wonders are attainable regardless, if you bend your production towards it.....

I voted for Ramsses because Huayna is so good it is actually too easy to win with him!

Rammy. His UB is so-so, but the UU rocks. :D

Industrious is my least-favourite trait in the game, but Ramesses actually does alright with it.
Spiritual is hands-down the best trait in the game, which helps. And his UB means a good early bulb of Theology, and thus he can get paper before CS to get Sankore and Apostolic Palace, and can potentially bulb divine right for spiral minaret as well. Half-price temples complete the fun.
Oh yeah and War Chariots are deadly as all hell :D

Wow. I think almost the opposite. I LOVE the industrious trait, and i dont like the spiritual trait.. Anarchy is a pain, yes, but cmon its only for 1-3 turns!

Fav trait: Imperialistic. Definitley. But only if uve got the gold to back it up. Otherwise Industrious.

I love Augustus for the cheap settlers.

Unrestricted: Augustus of India is an awesome builder with quick terraforming. With a great engineer farm city, sneak settlers into the best locations and then build all those cheap culture, junk wonders to culture bomb your brand-new cities.

So am I right in thinking that Augustus (Ind,Imp) is your favourite leader?

I love Huayna Capac but I've played as Lois too and that was pretty sweet.

Industrious is my favorite trait.

I like Rammy the best. I played a Monarch game with him recently. I had stone in my BFC ( unbelievable, never had that with an Ind leader before ). I built Stonehenge, Great Wall, and Pyramids! I finished Pyramids around 1500 BC or somethings crazy like that. Napoleon was close and I still was able to rush him with War Chariots; he was just about to hook up copper when I attacked.

I voted Stalin, not that I use him that much (and in fact use other Industrious leaders more), but early Police State from the Pyramids to crank out those free combat 1 troops is always so much fun . . . :)

UB is so-so? Nab Pyramids/Stonehenge early on (easy to do with a bit of chop rushing) and you have yourself an easy priest specialist supplement. His UB is freaking amazing if you're in the great priest/specialist economy business. I'd count it among the most influential early/mid game UB's, easily.

Ramses is my answer, by the way. Guy has an insane early game.

Louis is my runner up though... Just love that guy's look.
