Wow. I think almost the opposite. I LOVE the industrious trait, and i dont like the spiritual trait.. Anarchy is a pain, yes, but cmon its only for 1-3 turns!

Fav trait: Imperialistic. Definitley. But only if uve got the gold to back it up. Otherwise Industrious.

Anarchy can be nightmarish on Marathon... 5 turns late game, starting at 2 early game... If you like switching Civics relatively often, it's a *TREMENDOUS* loss of time for a non-spiritual leader on marathon.

When I used to play even epic though, I wasn't a huge fan of spiritual either. The move up to marathon made it one of my favorite traits though.

Huayna for me, but... industrious isn't really the key to his game. He spends his early hammers on early rush forces, and his super-granaries to somewhat emulate creative, while not having a huge number of hammers to even work with due to putting cottages everywhere. He only does the wonder thing mid to late game when he has dedicated hammer cities and isn't a military juggernaut anymore.

Louis is probably the best wonderspammer due to being able to get his entire city radiuses running in a few turns + not having much else to do early on.

H.C. every day of the week. He's my banker when I move up a level.

Quecha's for that early rush, cultured graneries, grabbing a religion from the off and loads of money thanks to the financial second trait.

Then sit back and enjoy those movies....!

I picked Qin because I think he is the most specialized leader there is. If you want an early culture victory he is the easiest to do it with. I don't pick him unless I am going for a culture win, but if was to say best all around ramsees wins easy. Spiritual is awesome and his UB is one of my favorites. You can run the entire game so easy without even founding a religion because the money from those great priests settled is ridiculous along with increased hammers. Gandhi of the egyptians is incredible.

Hyuna is my favorite, especially linked to the Dutch.

Though a close second is DeGaulle.

And an even closer third is Roosevelt.

I get the feeling this is turning into cottage economy (Huayna) vs specialist/hybrid economy (Ramses)... With all the wackos voting elsewhere ;)

Than im a wacko. I voted for Louis ex eye vee. wee. hee hee hee.

... yeah

I use a CE mostly, but still prefer Ramses because he not only works better IMO, he also doesn't tempt me to kill 2 civs before 3000BC.

UB is so-so? Nab Pyramids/Stonehenge early on (easy to do with a bit of chop rushing) and you have yourself an easy priest specialist supplement. His UB is freaking amazing if you're in the great priest/specialist economy business. I'd count it among the most influential early/mid game UB's, easily.

Don't forget that the obsoleting tech was bumped back with BTS.

Heh, i can imagine that:

George W Bush

How about Exp, phi?

Maybe that would work better with Hillary Clinton (char, fin?)

George Bush: Charismatic, Protective.

Hillary Clinton: Charismatic, Industrious.

All politicians nowadays have to be pretty charismatic, George's Protective is obvious, and Hillary's industrious because of all the radical things she says she plans to do. (btw, don't vote for her.)

Whats ur fav Industrious leader? I want to wonder spam on my next game- so im wondering (heh) what the best Industrious is.

Louis is for me. Wee. Hee hee he (WTH)

Cre- +around 20 culture in total, ind trait just increases it further.

Sorry- left out bismark.... just post it.

Before BTS, Roosevelt was my favorite leader period. I don't know why, but I loved using him, and I always did exceptionally well. After BTS, I started enjoying different leaders for different reasons. One thing you should add to the poll, is "I edited XXXX leader to be Ind/Phi!" Personally, I like the Phi/Ind leader type, and it's not overpowered like people say!
