Deadline is as per sig for right now, but there's decent chance I won't have easy internet access this weekend, so the deadline might be 20:00 GMT Wednesday. I'll know more tomorrow, but sending early orders this time would be a Very Good Thing.

As for the hiatus, I have determined I can do three more updates before the game must pause until April/May/June.

I'm not terribly opposed to someone else modding this, but I'd be afraid that the NES would run out of steam and die while I was away, leaving me nothing to return to.

Actually, I have a few other NES ideas, so this game concluding without me wouldn't be the worst thing in the world, but still.

Chindōgu makes man-made objects that have broken free from the chains of uselessness. They represent freedom of thought and action: the freedom to challenge the suffocating historical dominance of conservative utility; the freedom to be (almost) useless.

In practice, they have their hands in just about everything, quite like a true multi-national conglomerate.

If you went away for a few months, thats how this will die. If someone else makes a new port, so they can edit it, and begins modding, I don't think the difference will be THAT big. Sure, no one mods quite like you, but at least we can go on. Any experienced mod's out there?

Not as many ones with free time as I would like. That's one of the reasons why I like to mod; there aren't that many people on the forum who can hold up big games reliably and punctually, so I like doing my share when I can. In any event, a hiatus wouldn't be all that bad; I could set up a new thread during the break so that we could all revise the rules, fill out the setting, and hopefully create more interest so that new players would join the continuation.

And the continuing adventures of TNES and even LINES II show that games can go on even after months without updates.
