Hi just downloaded the demo and after watching the intro movie I got this message from the monitor "Input not supported"...I already update my graphics card drivers, I own an ATI HD 4770, any one can help with an idea of what may be the problem? is it the video card or the monitor itself? any solution? thanks in advance

What resolution do you have?
Is there something...let's say "unusual" about your monitor?

And welcome to CFC :).

Hi thanks for the reply and the welcome. I'm on 1440x900 and 60 hz refresh rate. Nothing unusual as far I'm concern, it's an AOC monitor.

Are you using the directx9 or 11 version of the game? If the problem occurs on 11, might want to try it on 9 to see what happens.

If my math is correct, 1440x900 is a SD resolution, but you included HD in the description of the monitor. On my HP 2009m the HD resolution is 1600x900, wonder if that might help? Assuming it's really a HD monitor of course.

There are graphics settings in the C:\Users\name\Documents\My Games\Sid Meier's Civilization 5 directory -- GraphicsSettingsDX9.ini and GraphicsSettingsDX11.ini for the two modes. Check the resolutions contained in the file for the directx version you're using to see if they match a supported monitor resolution. Changing FullScreen to 0 should put it in windowed mode, that could help too.
