Inquisitors

Yes, I think we are on the right way to domination. We should be careful not to win before we eliminate Bismark and Monty though.

ive jus tryed loading the save it wont let me so i wud skip my set of turns so we can keep the game moving itll take me bout 2 days to fix it

Do I need to go ahead or do we want to wait a couple of days for adamlan?

It's ok rather skip him Foolonthehill we could just revert back to him after you are finished. That way he doesn't loose a turn. How does that sound.

@Fireforge we are looking for players in our upcoming competitive SG Pacifist versus Jihadist. Just click on the link in my sig for posting and info. The second one HN02. It is on monarch so I hope you are comfortable with that although in an SG you can get by being a prince player.

Oops. I missed the first post about skipping him. Sorry about that. I have the save and should be playing tonight.

Overall, a good set of turns. Sorry, but while I looked longingly at Monte's heathen cities, the time was not right. I'm not going to go turn by turn in this report because it was so much infrastructure, etc.

On the inherited turn I traded Liberalism to Peter for his war with Bismark. It paid off 5 turns later with this...

:D

Right before Peter finished him off, Bismark converted to Islam, didn't help.

I also merged the GP into Seville giving us a cool 10gpt.

War weariness goes away immediately and our people go to work researching like fools. Drop the culture slider back to 0 and pump research back to 70%. Replaceable parts comes in and we start on Rifling (to give Monte a nice surprise). Rifles against longbows are a lot of fun. :D

However, it might have been good for me to leave the culture slider up for a couple of turns....

munichlk5.jpg

Alex just had too much cultural pressure on Munich so it flipped to him.

Other highlights were that the Heroic Epic finished in Cuzco, Peter started a Golden Age and, oh yeah, one other thing....

Cha-ching!

Okay. Since we can't get open borders with Monte, we can't convert him. Our war with Bismark ended in 1675 so we need to declare on Monte in about 5 turns. Rifling should come in in about 3. After Rifling is finished, drop the research slider to 0 and start upgrading everything we can to riflemen and then pay Monte a visit.

We may also want to take a couple of settler along to fill in cultural gaps as Monte and Alex are floating settlers around. In fact, Monte snuck one in on us....

monteci9.jpg

However, that just saves us from building a city when we declare on him.

One other note, we need to keep a constant supply of missionaries going. I changed some builds early to get some out to convert the captured cities and have also moved the caravel over to Peter's area so we can convert more of his cities.

That's about it, Monte should feel the :ar15: soon... We need about 20% more land to win. When the German cities fill out and with Monte's land we will probably be pretty close. May want to run the culture slider at 10% to build some culture in the new cities. I forgot to change civics to Org Religion so we are still in Theocracy, that may be fine now since we will probably start building rifles soon. :D

Save is attached.

Adamlan you want to take your turn now? Is everything ok with your computer? Rather than skip I suggested we just revert back to you after Foolonthehill played. So go ahead and leave a "got it" and that'll be fine.

Great, this game is going extremely well :) Some lumbermills around Cuzco, and Cottages around Berlin would be nice to have. We have three fortified units in Munich, who no longer are needed there, since the city joined Alex's empire. Foolish people, how can they prefer Alex to this beauty Isabella...

got it my comps alrite now i wont post a tun by turn report either i will post it later on

She sure is a cutey and Alex's mug isn't that great to look at.

Nice to see that Bizzie is no more!

I am going out of town for a couple of days. I don't know when I get back to this comp, someday next week I guess.

Cheers!

@Krockel

Usually when somebody goes out of pocket they will post the dates in their signature. It makes it easier to remember but I will OOP you until beginning of next week. Also post to the OOP thread is good to keep everybody informed of your OOP.

EDIT: Adamlan when you post here later could you please upload the save at the "Jihadist". Codeman wanted to play but there wasn't a save. DOH......

@Adamlan

Are you posting? Just wondering as you stated that on July 25th 2:07am. If there's any problem I can play later today.

Sorry for the triple post but I am concerned about adamlan not posting yet. By tonight if he hasn't posted I will take the last save and play. It has been over 48 hrs plus since adamlan posted. To be honest I don't understand the message entirely but thought it meant he was playing and posting later.

Ok this is "I got it" we are going to skip Adamlan just to keep things moving.

EDIT: I have played and will be posting shortly. The Empire is doing very well gentlemen.

Adamlan,

Go ahead and post "got it" if you can play fairly soon. It was just the game stalled for almost 3 days and I wanted to keep it moving. We are doing very well and enjoy playing this, feeling we aren't too far from a win. So again if you can play now go ahead.
