So heres the deal, I got myself a nice shiny new computer (running XP, so no vista problems here) and I'm in the process of transferring all my old files, games, programs, etc onto it.
Unfortunately I lost my CD for Civ 3 Vanilla, but I thought it would be no big deal, I already had lost a few other CD's and I just copied the whole folder from C: drive to C: drive via my USB drive and it they all worked fine.
But then when I tried to run Civ 3, a box popped up saying that "no installer could be found". Is there some hidden files somewhere outside the Civ 3 folder that I have to track down to make this work? Cause I live in a small town and only get to go shopping in the city about once a month, and I don't want to be without my Civ 3 for that long! (the old computer is going bye-bye in about a week, we're giving it away to my cousin who doesn't have one)
