Instant Karma 3 civ/player, no AI

Stop. Stop. U R breaking our hearts. :D
We've all had some bad breaks... just don't want to share them here (so everyone else can revel in my misery). :cringe:

OK, ImpK... seems U changed your in-game name?
I've just wasted 2 hours  trying to figure out why the file i uploaded last nite didn't advance Tracker properly.

Awoke this AM, checked Tracker as always, & it said it was my turn (i thot; "Wow, what a fast turnaround!")... but it was the SAME turn, bc-350.
FINALLY, after several reloads, uploads, head-scratching, & cursing... noted that file game saved was named "...King Napoleon...", not just "...Napoleon...".
Renamed saved file by deleting the "King ". Uploaded (once again) & Tracker advanced properly.

Why Tracker didn't outright reject incorrectly named file before = ? (i will send this along to Tracker Admin for a fix hopefully)

I have to surmise that "King" ImpK changed in-game name last turn = screwed up system.
PLEASE, everyone, do NOT alter in-game name in any way once game starts(!). :spank:

Maybe you should have read my last post:

Btw I changed the names of my leaders, so you should correct it in the Tracker too. After all, what is a king without his title? :king:

I'm really out of f*cks to give for people who are incapable of understanding something that's right before their eyes.

PLEASE, everyone, do NOT alter in-game name in any way once game starts(!). :spank:

You know, other admins would actually pay attention to stuff like that and correct it in the Tracker, especially if the relevant player announces it in the thread.

Don't worry, until Constitution at least (unless I capture the Pyramids) I'm not going to change them again.

Excuse me.
U buried it in 1 of your long-winded posts.
No hilite, no color, no clearing thru the admin until after the fact.
Even if i had read the details; U left out the most important detail... the full, EXACT new name U R requesting. Tracker will accept no less.

I tried to name-change in another game after the start & screwed it up like this one has been. I suggest U do the same as i did, & that admin'r requested, ... change it back & leave it alone for the duration.

Thank You. :thanx:

ImpK of France... pls change your in-game name BACK to original as listed on Tracker.
Neither i (renaming file before every upload) nor Tracker admin (who actually have change it) is going to waste our time every U, or anyone, feels like changing their name.

U can change your unit names & cities all U want, it affects no one but U.
Or U can start your own game & do whatever U wish.
But we are not going to mess with admin names after a game starts.

This is LAST request. :please:
If i get next turn's file with "king" included, it may be your last. :trouble:

zrmpflgrmpfl Can I at least add Comrade General Secretary of the Communist Party of France/Celtia/Maya to my names once I adopt State Property?

Is the problem here the old spaces-no-good-need-underlines instead ?

So, in pbemtracker, it needs to be 'King_X' instead of 'King X'. ?

I'm sure I have altered pbemtracker names mid-game several times for replacements, so unless this is a new problem, I'm surprised.

I also remember there are a number of not-so-special characters that pbemtracker cannot cope with, like '.' or '-' and probably others.

There, I removed the 'King' title. :D

Updated game speed #'s for last 2 months' action/progress.
Which is the fastest group of players, now…far? :scan:

Starting with oldest…
Calculated = turns per day / days per turn thru today for the games I'm in.
"18-but-not-Earth" = .27 / 3.6
"Tri Civ" = .19 / 5.2
"Octofish" = .33 / 3
"Redofish" = .21 / 4.8
"Instant Karma" = .58 / 1.7
"3rd Tribe" = .5 / 2.0
"Civ Fix" = .54 / 1.9

Congratulations "Instant Karma", fast players are thee! :goodjob:
However, "18-but-not-Earth", continues a seriously quik group! :hatsoff: May even speed up soon with only 11 left. ;)

"Redofish"… remains sadly slow. Let's pick it gents(!?).

gps'd to ImpK of France Sure hope his turn comes thru as originally named. :scan:

Instant Karma is getting U again, overly-trusting Herc of Amer. Perhaps in future ventures, U will bild some units & not just scientists. Oh, & station them IN cities. So one does not lose cities in the 1st turn of war.
Our goal is to :assimilate: only the seemingly undefended Amer. We have no quarrel with teammates... unless they try to "rush to the aid"... like that Sumerian WoodsII warrior for instance.

STONE! An extremely generous deal has been offered to Suleiman.

Btw is it too late to transfer two of my border cities from Maya to France? It occurred to me that otherwise France will never be able to build all the National Wonders requiring eight of the same buildings unless I invade the Vikings or found some far-away colonies.

Noted. But I think it is the gold you are after. Trust is what I do.

Has it ever occurred to you that every single game in which you trusted KenWyn it turned out to be a horrible mistake? Think about it.

Now, now. That is a bit over stated. There are many in the contests that i am in who have received gifts & resources from my civs just to be nice & friendly. Perhaps U have not yet seen that side of this leader because... ?

I have warned/cautioned in nearly every game, that we are not hapless AI & we ALL seek to eventually "win". To play against other humans as if we AI = not smart or realistic.
To whit, in this very game: i trust ZHR, but U can bet that everywhere his exploring chariot is i have at least 2 units in my cities so he could NOT turn on me & capture or destroy a city with 1 attack. If i did not, & he chose to declare & take an easy city... who is to blame?
Are we to leave everyone alone that chooses to spend resources & time building research & buildings instead of basic self-defense, so they can later overwhelm us with higher technology & wonders that churn out GP's while we who were prudently & realistically cautious fall by the wayside?

As the old Arab saying goes: "Trust in Allah, but tie up your camel."

Sorry, U'll have to provide an incentive to cease rolling on to Washington. :yumyum:
Send a private courier with any offer(s). :scan:

gps'd to the true leader of France, Napoleon/ImpK

The Knoedel Triple Alliance is grateful for Turkey's generous supply with stone and with the intent of furthering the friendship of our peoples the French crown has decided to send some of her finest seafood to Istanbul. All the subjects of King Brennus immediately dropped what they were doing once the fine resource entered their cities and towns and began erecting stunning Duns to help protect them against the recent barbarian attacks that continue to this very day.

Greetings :king: methinkso of Holy Rome & other civ's. :hatsoff:
May we be open & prosper together. :salute:

GPS

Something broke off the connection between me and ZHR. Oh well, guess that means I'm gonna buy my stone from Michkov now.
