Interesting Screenshots

Plus, all of their laborers have been assigned to unimproved tiles.

Yeah, you'd think they'd be smart enough to move OFF THE CRATERS at least!

Craters go away once you improve the tile, I think. They don't have any effect other than visual.

I haven't had the opportunity to improve anything I've cratered yet - but you can improve that rockpile that's left behind when you waste a city with no effect (the workers use the same amount of turns to build a road, and once it's done - the road appears and the rocks vanish).

I think the effect doesn't go away until you hit "clear damage".

Not sure, but I've had damage cleared by roading the tile. I never bothered to check if it was a problem, but I don't ever recall looking at a city that's suffered from damage and said "Hmm...that tile should be producing more." It's unusual enough that I probably would remember.

Are you sure the "damage" wasn't just a city ruins site? City ruins sites clear up as soon as you road them, or irrigate, or mine...but craters do not.

My first trip into the multi-millionnaire club. :)

Now if only I would have had culture flip on I would've been making my first HOF submission  .

I'm not sure if I could've been making more money if I sold off all factories/nuke plants/manufacturing plants. I figure since I was making wealth in all cities it was better this way.

Why has the game still not ended in 2050?

Yes the game ended and I hit lemme play a couple more turns because I wanted to take the screenie.

As far as the wasted space I was trying avoid overcorrupting my cities since I was in commie. The OCN is right around 200 and you get a big time hit in corruption if you go over. This was actually my first milk game so I was a newbie in that respect, I'll definitely use all the space next time I spend 200+ hours on a game. 34xxx wasn't bad for a first attempt, I should've completed the conquest faster than I did but I lost a little focus on what I was doing for about 200 years, haha.

I had over 800 slaves so there was nothing left to do but be a tree hugger :) .

Yeah I found out that continents is no good for high score games. The logistics of getting ~550 Modern Armor, 25 armies, and about 200 artillery across the ocean turned out to be a problem. I didn't want to go with any less than I did because sumeria had taken over about 75% of the other continent. Good old Deity AI with 600 MI + tows and un-upgraded infantry in huge metros made for some razing fun, hence all the slaves.

They had actually switched back to democracy from fascism. It was quite amusing when I investigated a city after opening the offensive. Needless to say they had 2 turns of no production immediately after.

This is very confusing. Although i did edit game rules (nothing to do with terrain or resources) and made it so a few more things were avalible, but this was completely random and i never knew it could happen, fish on grasslands?

PS-that is 326 by 326 size map, and it "had" everyone on it, some i killed.
