This has to be the most diverse unhappiness report I've ever seen. I didn't realize that an enemy country drafting its own people could affect capured cities. I had just lost a city to the Byzantines and they had used the draft, then I retook the city.

How is it possible to see the attitudes of the people? I fired up Civ last night just to see how to do this, and I see no way to view what makes people happy/unhappy.

If you click on a unhappy citizen he/she will say something like its way to crowded or we are just saying give peace a chance and things like that. What they say tell you what makes them unhappy. Its pretty easy to figure it out once he has whined really.

I clicked all over the city display last night trying to get some dialog box about attitudes. I got nothing. What version of Civ 3 is this in? I have Civ 3 Conquests. If there was any patch for Civ 3 Conquests, I'm certain I got it.

You click ON the citizen, in the cities. You know how to get specialists right? Now click on a unhappy citizen. Dont be surprised if he only says "its way to crowded" (thats the kind of unhappiness you get from just growing the city).

The useful thing about this is that it shows how many percent of the unhappy ppl that are unhappy of each reason they could be unhappy of. That means that you can combat the thing that bothers them the most.

Heh, Findus, your world war screenie looks almost like a converse to my old Cleopatra versus Xerxes one. :D

After a grand total of some 15 turns!(The Middle Ages conquest and yes, I think lots of other people have done this before and yes, it's cheiftan.)

Indeed, the rampaging berserk destruction method. Now, here is the 5-step method to world domination as an Islam civ in the MA Sceenario:

1. Build a few hundred assassins.
2. Find all king cities.
3. Position 5+Assassins next to all of them.
4. Use the stealth attack ability to kill all the kings.
5. Get Massive VP points, repeat until you have won.

You know what would really suck? The volcano erupting that turn.

He's referring to the fact that it gave him a SPEARMAN and not a warrior.

If this hut had been in a desert, I would assume it was a mirage, but seriously, I think it's a bug. This hut had absolutely no result, even after I reloaded.
