B5 of course, unless the cylons from BSG get there first.

Nah, I'll just throw the user against a wall with my hand device before he even gets close enough to even use it. In fact, I might keep the whip as a souvenir of fools who dared to defy a god.Pah. Take your Egyptian walk and go through that crack in the wall before you get your ass kicked by the laserwhip!

I guess it depends on when exactly we're taking the snapshot of the Universes, something the OP didn't address.
Why do you assume we should use the Star Wars Universe at the time of the motion pictures?
If we do that, then in all fairness you have to use the StarGate universe at the time of the motion picture... and in the motion picture there is only one goau'ld left in the Universe, who gets killed, and no mention of the Ori![]()
Well, it is also used for torture, so if you are intersted in that sort of thing, yeah it is kind of kinky. With your "hand device". Sounds more kinky than scary.
Yes I id state that in the OP
Star Wars -Beggining of ROTJ aka Episode VI
Stargate -2006 aka Season 10
Star Trek -~2370 aka DS9/Voyager era
He said begining of 6, meaning the DS2 is still waiting to be finished, Vader and the Emperor both Live, and Empire is very much intact.AhI apologize...
Then yeah, the Star Wars universe is not in good shape at the end of Episode VI, since it's just emerging from a major galactic war.
'Tis unfair!![]()
When has the force ever had a major effect? I can't even think of a single time Jedi/Sith have turned the tide in a major battle. Not to mention that in Atack of The Clones Jedi were dropping like flies...
@El_Machinae Excellent point 8472 pwns all![]()
Ever played Knights of the Old Republic? Bastila's Battle Meditation gave her control over half the Sith fleet! I'd call that powerful. Or how about how Jedi/Sith can see the future? I'd say The Force gives Star Wars folks a great advantage over the other two.
Death Star pwns all.
Death Star pwns all.
Oh, really?

Now you have a new definition for 'brutally powerful'.
Warning Stargate Atlantis Season 3 finale, First Strike
Spoiler :Nothing could beat the gate weapon the replicators sends to Atlantis to destoy it , as long as the gate is open its impossible to destroy http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/First_Strike_(Stargate_Atlantis)
So Stargate wins hands down![]()
Well, ST & SW don't have gates so... it wouldn't do a whole lot.
Is there a single thing as cool as a lightsaber in either Startrek or Stargate? No, thanks you very much!
Wrong.Well that's a game so it's not canon![]()
When has a Borg Cube demonstrated firepower comparable to an ISD? (As per Base-Delta-Zero) And in terms of material stength, have the Borg ever managed to build a ship the size of a small moon, capable of surviving over 1000gs of acceleration? The Empire most certainly did. Also how do you plan on stopping the Borg a Cube is 3km to a side an ISD is 1.5km longA cube has high capacity shields, transwarp, A variety of high-yield diruptors, and torpedos, and they can beam through shields to assimilate the crew/knowledge of other species after which they adapt to every weapon they have. Oh, did I mention their are 30,000 thousend Borg ships?
It take forever to shoot. The Borg will simply beam over en masse and start assimilating (See the movie First Contact), or Species 8472 will use a planet destroyer to obliterate it.
...entirely due to the influence of the Force. If anyone other than Luke had taken that shot, or if luke had relied on his computer, he'd have died in that trench and the Rebellion would have ended that day. (Proof - The other X-Wing pilot who used his computer to make the shot. He failed.)The Death Star was blown up by one freaking single seat (plus droid) fighter firing one shot.
It's not like a Stargate will just pop into existance out of nothing. They'd have to deliver it, just like any other weapon, and thus be faced with the Imperial fleet. The weapon does not become viable unless the navy is already defeated, at which time the weapon's existance is moot.eh the Ancient created the gates and I see no reason why they cant create them in the whatever universe they are sent to do battle, and then the replicators can create the weapon
