Into The Future

Btw i encountered this problem with my games recently. I dont warmonger and usually waits till i am the one who gets DoW'ed by agressive AI. However, Some AI are so agressive that they conquer most of the other Civs.

How many civs did you have in this game at the start? my current playthrough has Bismark taking arabia, greece, egypt already while Persia took Byzantine, Maya, Carthage and Rome. Netherlands has his own continent while Iroquios and Me share the same continent with so much room still left.

even if i have a superior army against them, i cant seem to defend other civs from Germany and Persia specially when they are too far away :(

I probably had fourteen civs at the start of this game.I don't remember for sure, but I did that alot back when I started this game.I think there were at least two civs, maybe three or more, that got conquered on the Aztec's continent.

If you want to do a game like this, you might just want to do at least 12 or 13 civs, and that way there might be some left in the late game, like their is on mine. But watch out, some of them might be superpowers!

that and how is your war going?

I'm not sure when I'll update this again, but it'll probably be pretty soon.

The war with the Aztecs has been going pretty good, but it might get worse, as I'm not sure if I've encountered the bulk of their forces yet.

if it were japan you were at war with, you better stock up on nuclear missiles. The Aztecs are hyper agressive and will field a huge army, so be prepared for huge attacks. Rest your forces after each objective. The Aztecs are notorious for putting up bloody resistance when on the defensive. And, if all else fails, build up nukes and spam them.

if all goes well, the next chapter in the story of america comes tomorrow.

Okay.I will most likely read it if I get the chance.

korean pres., if you got the message, the butt kicking I am getting now has rekindled my thirst for world conquest as vengeance in my future era game. Another story on my page comes tomorrow, since I have a day off.

Alright.;)

If you want me to try to help you with anything, you can put the save file in this thread as long as it doesn't require any DLC(except Mongolia) or G&K.

You would have to do it from the computer that the saved game is on.I think you would have to go to the manage attachments button below where you post things on here, and then click browse to browse for the save file.I think you then have to go to your documents folder, and go to the My Games folder, then find Civ5, then the saves folder, then the singleplayer folder, and then find the save and select it to be uploaded.

But that's only if you actually want to.

Another update here.

Spoiler :
During the war with the Aztecs, some Japanese civilians attempted to escape the harsh Communist Regime of Japan. Some went to the northern continent, and, as shown in this picture, some found an area of land that belonged to no nation and founded their own settlement there.Others settled down in rural areas of Tyre.

And it seemed that the only two major Communist nations-Japan and Siam-did not like each other.
2012-09-26_00003.jpg

As well, the war between Russia and the Songhai continued.

The US kept military near Turkish borders and renewed it's pledge to protect the small nation of Ragusa in the event of an Ottoman attack. But the Turks used the military buildup as a way to accuse the US of planning an attack against them.
2012-09-26_00007.jpg

The US government of course denied the accusations.
2012-09-26_00008.jpg

But although they tried not to show it, it was clear to the world that the Turkish economy was suffering badly.
2012-09-26_00011.jpg

But the US economy made a great recovery and the US kept building up it's nuclear arsenal in case of Turkish attack.
2012-09-26_00010.jpg

US relations with Communist Siam remained strained.
2012-09-26_00016.jpg

And in the war, the Aztecs were doing bombing runs in an attempt to stop the American advance.
2012-09-26_00004.jpg

And after finally recuperating from it's losses, the American army continued the offensive, but this time in a different direction, capturing the city of Coyotepec.Since restoring Persia as a nation was already on the list of proposed American foreign missions, the US decided that the city would become the capital of a new Persian state.
2012-09-26_00015.jpg

The US helped the Persians set up a new democracy for a government.

But shortly thereafter, the seemingly ungrateful new Persian leader complained about the United States gaining land in the area.

I didn't actually liberate them.I have complete kills on, so they were still alive somewhere.I just gave them that city.

a cool update. If you had more time to play like me, you could post longer and better chapters with tons of war! but it's perfectly understandable. Another chapter is coming soon.
Spoiler :
The end is near!

Yeah, it's a pretty big undertaking to do all that. The turns usually take a pretty long time. And after getting all the screenshots uploaded to photbucket, writing up the update, and linking the pictures from here to there, it sometimes takes a good while just for one update, if it's fairly long.

sadly, I cant do those fancy pictures and videos due to my lack of knowledge for that. Imagine a big fat history book with pictures and videos!

Im thinking of posting my very own saga with the Netherlands. How do you do those spoiler tags?

its actually pretty cool to see pictures when i read stories here. I even like pictures more than those Video Le'ts Play unless i want to learn something in the game.

as they always say, a picture is worth a thousand words :)

yeah, pics are really cool. If I put tons of pics in my strory of America thread... it would spam everything. Anyway, my war against the world is drawing to a close. Only time can tell what stories are worth telling when I get G&K. I wonder what it is....

I can try to show you how when I have more time if you want me to.

When doing your post, you have to select all the text/screenshot links that you want to be in the spoiler. Then while you have them selected, click the little button at the top of the posting options that has a little thing on it that says "SPOIL", and that puts a spoiler around the text you selected.

Yeah, I think I like pictures better than video most of the time too. It's just seems quicker to do than watching hours of video.

And pictures are 1000% better than nothing at all. I like pictures because they let me go at my own speed, and let me understand what I want/need to. It makes for a more interesting read.
