Wizard Wars
Background
One hundred years ago, a wretched creature arrived in the court of the Great King Thytho. The woman's name was Hanna, and she promised Thytho that if he could bring her the head of a young alchemist that lived in a frontier village called Brylin, she would raise for him a powerful army of wizards.
Thytho, desiring the power of a magical army, sent his royal guard to Brylin to hunt for the alchemist. Alas, the royal guard could not find any alchemist in the city, but Erik, Commander of the Soldiers in the Presence of the Great King, feared for his life if he failed to return with the head of the alchemist, and so it would be that Erik would approach a blacksmith and offer the blacksmith's apprentice an apprenticeship in the capital. The man, who was also the father of the apprentice, overjoyed to hear his son's acceptance.
The royal guard rode out of the village with the boy. That night, Eric himself delivered the blow that severed the head from the boy's body. It would be the head that the Great King Thytho presented to Hanna.
Hanna took one horrified look at the head and screeched at the Great King. "Murderer! This was just a child! I curse you, and I curse the line of Yo!" The woman vanished with a
pop.
The Great King remained stony on his throne for several minutes before he rose from his throne and shouted, "I DEMAND WIZARDS."
Joining
One hundred years ago, the Great King Thytho brought a curse down on his dynasty. Within fifteen years, all his heirs would be dead. Even on his deathbed, the Great King Thytho demanded for the head of the Lost Alchemist, or the head of the Wretched Witch.
A succession crisis broke out, and the Oaken Empire crumbled, leaving nothing but succession kingdoms behind.
To join, claim ten provinces, name your dynasty, and give a history of your dynasty as it relates to the crumbling of the Oaken Empire.
Economy
Pretty simple. Each provinces produces one EP from agriculture and resource extraction. Players can improve their Urban stat by investing five EP. Each Urban Point requires 2 EP a turn.
EP is used to maintain companies, while UP is used to train companies and do a variety of advanced tasks and-
I'm kidding; this isn't an actual ruleset.
