And the detail's the problem. It makes a whole bunch of tiny little islands, half of which I'd erase, the other half I'd have to re-arrange into provincial clusters.
It's the Classic IOT map edited to remove pesky islands, with quite a few provinces split or merged. Offshore islands are connected to the mainland by a small line so that any province can be coloured with one click.
The problem with that map is how small some of the provinces are. In MP things where placed in provinces. It also lacks regions.
That said it is an awesome map
Espionage has now been coded using the base-60-per-cent odds mentioned earlier. It's a little rough around the edges, but the script plays out properly enough to determine victors and casualties so I'm not too concerned. Haven't looked at automating SDI, but that's straightforward enough to do quickly by hand.
I can upload the file if anyone with Python wants to review it; I'll warn you ahead of time, though, documentation's grossly lacking and internal error-checking is nonexistant.
Unless anyone has any further crucial input, I think I'm ready to package this all together.
