Is in the prince level impossible win?

It's not impossible to win silvio82, it just needs different tactics than Noble difficulty.
More city specialisation (i.e. make 1 city a commerce city, one city a military city... etc)
Field more troops so that you dont have AI's coming to steal your lands.
Develop your friends more - choose who is on your side and who isnt and stay with that throughout the game as much as possible.
Pick a leader you like and play with that leader repeatedly until you win!
Eventually, you will find Prince to be the same as Noble.

Don't judge your lead too much by the scoreboard, because it's seldom an accurate representation of who's really in the lead.

I found that on Noble you could just do anything and end up winning. this is a fatal mistake from the start. You need to focus on how you going to win right from the start.
I also found you need to focus on you research alot more. If you are playing a CE then you MUST cottage spam at least half of your cities preferably 3/4. If you are worried about production switch to Universal Suffarage. This will make your cottage spammed cities handy in production and if there is a river, build a levee and you can have quite a strong production city.
As said before pick a leader who suits you playing style.

I replied to this in the original thread in the general forum - Try moving down a difficulty level and get a firm grip on some tactics (REX, axerush, Se, whatever...)

Well it does give a representation of everything...
However I am not overly concerned with it either. They ar spunking units out left right and centre, where as you are plugging away at those decent wonders.. doing long tech beelines and not overexpanding early.
Come the later game, your points will hit 5000 no problem!

Ignore points Silvio.... points only win Time Victories - turn off Time Victory and play for another victory condition!
