Is it worth it?

Well, I have just gotten tons of b-day money, so I decided to go browse around on ebay, lookin' for a deal on PTW and Conquests. And I found THIS

For them to ship it to where I live, it would be $9.09 US dollars. I know that auction won't end for a while, but I'd like to be prepared. I have quite a bit of money...so is it worth it...or not?

If it's $5.00 and another $9.00 to ship, you're looking at $14.00, and the description says that the disk has scratches and a crack near the center hole. You can get a new Civ 3 Complete, which also includes Vanilla, PTW and C3C from Amazon for about $18.00 plus shipping. I think you can do better than the ebay deal.

Yeah, I bought my version of Civ III Complete for 19.95 at Walmart. It may be getting harder to find, but I don't think that price is particularly cheap for a very used CD.

Ahhh...OK. I'll go up to Walmart, Best Buy, etc. To see what deal I get there. And/or Amazon LOL

Go to the wal-mart website and buy it on-line. I got complete NEW for $17.82 + $1.34tax + $1.97shipping. I would have had to pay the sales tax anyway and the $2 shipping was well worth it. I would have spent about $1.25 in gas and 30mins in that god awful place + 20min roundtrip driving time.

I'm gonna try at our local Walmarts first...then if all else fails, I'll go to the walmart website. I did check it out there, and was surprised by the low price LOL

I've actually seen civ3 complete down to 9.95 $, an amazing deal.

I got mine in a six disk package deal from dell, came with chessmaster and scrabble for $30.

I have C3C (I think the box set that's shiny right?) which I bought at Best Buy. It's best to purchase your own copy of the game if you have loads of money.
