Is the Steam website working?

I can load the main page but when I go to the store I get a lot of blank windows.
There is no list of games.
The buttons for games under $10 and under $5 show 0 games.
If I click on demos I get an empty window that claims there are 0 demos.
If I click on a game category I get a window with 2 games in it that then scrolls to the next 2 games but there is no list of games.

The New Games and the Top Sellers windows are empty.

I'm using Firefox, which is what I have always used.
I tried Internet explorer and it is the same.

Problem confirmed. I used Chrome, it looks like they have 0 games or something, I'm not sure what's going on.

It is working fine for me, but it isn't unusual for it to load slowly or have random temporary issues. This didn't need its own thread.

Yeah, it's working fine again for me. It must have been some weird hiccup on their servers or something.

For what it's worth, about 2 weeks ago I wanted to see if Steam would allow me to download a free game and wasn't able to use the shop, and haven't been able to since.

It's also meant I can't check out Civ5 mods, since that page never works either.

So, yeah, not just you.

Now if someone isn't fanatical enough to upload their mod at CivFanatics... well I guess then you're just out of luck .
