Is there a way to get rid of the main menu music in BTS?

I really dislike the MMM (Main Menu Music, because I'm too lazy to continually type that out) in BTS and personally, I think baba yetu was much better. Is there a way to replace the BTS MMM with that song? Thanks.

Advanced -> Options -> Graphics tag -> Opening Menu scroll -> Choose "Civilization IV" . And voilá... "Baba Yetu" is back , after restarting BtS of course ( I also have it )

I actually just figured that out earlier this week... I had talked about being close to "modding" the game to get back the Warlords MainScreen+Music...

Unfortunately, choosing Warlords via that option is very buggy to say the least.
BTS / CIV-IV and the BlueMarble options are all fine and work fine.
Warlords on the other hand, will freeze once the screen displays, the music will stutter and the whole screen freezes (No mouse input accepted) for at least a minute or more.

Slight problem. There's nothing next to the words 'Opening Menu', no slider, scroll, nothing. There's just the words at the bottom of the graphics options list.

Nope. There is nothing next to 'Opening Menu'. Just a blank space. I've tried downloading updates, but it says there are no new updates.

EDIT: For that matter, I can't see any of the options on the right side either. And my 'audio' and 'other' tags just open up a blank space when I click on them.

Wierd....

You can always get the Baba Yetu from Vanilla folder ( Assets\Sounds\Soundtrack\OpeningMenu.mp3 ) and paste in in the BtS counterpart..... Should work.

Alright, that did the trick. However, I would still prefer it if I could find out what's wrong with the main menu. Any suggestions?

Faulty install, maybe?... Some interface mod ( HoF, BUG , Bluemarble ) misfuction?

I dunno about HoF, but BUG and blueMarble don't apply any changes to the main options at all.

BUG one time locked me the options ( a previous version, non Vista friendly .....)... that is why I asked .

You could attempt to download one of the patches for BtS to see if it fixes the problem but if you've found another way to listen to "Baba Yetu" instead of the overly dramatic BtS song then i guess it isn't really neccessary

They Already Mentioned that earlier.

A Game-Friendly Way is to change the opening menu (it includes the misic)
By going advanced... options ... graphics... opening menu... CivIV
But obv it also changes the onening menu to match..
