By this I mean is there anything in your actual name that can show something out of the ordinary. If you know what your name means then that would be great too. You don't have to give out you name, but the special part
The special thing about my name is that my Surname is a Scottish town. I know My Granddad has been there and some people I know who share the same last name, but are not related in anyway, have been there also. The Scottish town is Nairn. My first name means Gift of God, and my middle name means Beloved.
This is meant to a fun thing.

My name (Yom) means 'day' in Ge'ez and Hebrew. It was the name of my great-uncle. My last name means 'you are the world' in Amharic.

I have the most generic name you could possibly think of.

My name means "bliss". Ignorance is bliss, as they say...

Oh, and classic hero, I know your name :p

my name, justin is saposed to be french, but im not sure how far u can tace it back. i know the romans used justin(the emperor justinans uncle, who was king befor him of the byzantine empire), thern thers justinian, and justinius...
from what i understand, it is like i said french, and means justice. but can some one check this out for me?? is it roman or greeke? or what :S

I was named after the baseball player Ty Cobb, hense my middle name Tyler.

My middle name and my twins first name are both obviously religious names, neither of us are into religion.

My last name is the French prononciation of the German surname Puschel. Probably means my family originated from Alsace-Lorraine.

My surname is the only one of its kind in the whole of England south of Yorkshire, according to phone books and searching in the records office.

Hey can you claim to know a ....
On second thoughts, i don't trust some of you people with this reasonably unique piece of knowledge

My surname is the same as the great fictional detective, Sherlock Holmes :)

Curiously, one of my distant cousins has the surname Rathbone, which is the same surname as one of the most famous of the older actors to play Holmes.

my first name means "rock" last name derives from english for 'fountain'

my name means ''male'' or ''manly'', so I guess it's right for me :p

There's a mildly interesting story about my last name. According to my grandparents (who are a rather dubious source, I'll admit), my family's surname used to be Knutssen (we're of Norwegian descent, as I have mentioned before). They claim there was an excess of Knutssens on the ship coming over, so they changed it to [what it is now]. I've been unable to find any meaning for it, so I''m wondering if some imaginative ancestor just made it up. (Oh, if there are any Norwegians who'd like to try and etymologize it, they can PM me.)
