Well in short, duh! Not only are people getting sjot because they wear turbans, and by the way the people who wear turbans you see in the streets are Sikhs and NOT muslims for the trigger-happy guys out there, and myself being of indian origin have, when i was 12 stopped by some kids whom i had known for a while and harassed to go back to my own country even though i was born in the US. This happened a block away from my house and if one kid hadn't told the rest of em to go away they were ready to beat me up and steal my bike. A block away from my house! My first encounter with racism and definately not my only experience

well, rascsits have no place in America, but sadly, these, "humans" still exists. i feel sorry that you had to experience rascism. i know this Turkish-American(born in the USA) girl, and on Spetember 11, 2001, during my Physical Education class, and she walked up to this Asian Indian kid and said, "you aren't Arab, are you?"

he said, "no, i'm Indian."

i told her off for it.

even if every single Middle Easterner hated the USA, i wouldn't hate the people for being Middle Eastern, i'd hate them for hating me/my people.

BTW, that Turkish girl isn't rascist anymore and we get along fine.

Im quite suprized it wasnt the other way around, noticing that is an Arab. I have a friend who's Indian who has taken so slack about Osama since 9-11. All I can say is that they better be glad he desided to stop fighting people.
