in fact i do have a custom button. but it is 64*64! i made certain of that.

added later:
more test results. I've tried to update my game version to 3.13 from my 3.03.. no joy there.
tried replacing button with known working one from built in tank (just to see if it would work) .. no joy here as well.
Tried to change unit size.. no effect.
went over the entire script for unitinfo, and artinfo. all seems normal.

P.s: i have another custom made unit in this mod that works perfect. tried to compare the two with no luck of finding anything that can explain..
could use some more help.

How did you do that thing where it's escorted by troops?

You use the unit itself. Examine the Settler in UnitInfos. It has multiple units in it. So use that system to give soldiers flanking a unit.
