Nation Background: Illyria is a region of vaguely united tribes owing a faint loyalty to a marginal king who rules more through his assembly of chiefs than personal mandate. Agriculture, cattle and horse herding, and copper and later iron mining, along with a healthy pirate industry, forms the basis of the Illyrian economy. The largest and most important city, the port of Rhizon is the home city of the Kings of Illyria, the refuge of pirates, and the central trading zone of the Illyrian people. The mounted lance wielding god Medauras is the protector of the city, although nearby Greek polytheism has its own influence and followers among the tribes.

I am afraid that do to the lack of players, in a NES the basis of which (nation types) requires at least a relatively high number of players, this NES would be an impossibility to mod. I am working on a continuation of IsrNES2 that I will be moding as opposed to this. Expect this other NES to be up in either late July or August.

That would make me China in three nes'...I would be in it of course, but I might have to reconsider my nation again :p

Awesome. That's what I voted for in the first place. Yay!

Although I AM sad that this one never got off. Oh well, it's better that there were no updates, stories, or big orders sent yet, so there wasn't any emotional attachment yet.

You killed it? I had such a great nation too...

Why does it matter that there's no one east of Damascus? Just don't bother updating countries over there, and create them as people reach them...

I'm too much of a perfectionist, and besides that, the west is also far too sparse with players for me to do city states and tribes. Thinking back on it, the whole premsie of this NES may be an impossibility.

It's easier to be simpler. More fun too.

Israelite, sometimes you have to release perfection. I used to be a perfectionist when I was young, and it resulted with me becoming severely depressed when school got harder. I got over it and became what I am now. A perfectionist who is willing to compromise his principles when necessary or practical, IE not doing a NES with obscenely complicated stats or not spending 5 hours doing a minor assignment to ensure that I get a perfect mark.

I used to get depressed from perfectionism, but going to the school I'm going to nocked that out of me pretty quick. Don't worry, this new one will be simpler than I had intended IsrNES2 to be (although it still will be more complicated than I would like, but I cant just bring myself to cut out anymore).

IsrNES2's stats were unnecessarily complicated. I mean, stats for my colonies? That's definite overkill.

Sorry, but this is very dead.
