I think USA won't win any games, although didn't vote because I gave up after almost 20 attempts. I think South Korea might win a few though, or at least, make it into the 2nd round.

I doubt it since the USA have at least 3-4 players in their side who play regularly in the English league, while South Koreans do not have that many playing International or een League football that regularly

well it seems that after this extensive poll that USA will not win a game. Saudi or Senegal might have taken a point, I'm denying that but they won't make it through to the next round. It'd take a miracle to make me eat my words

on top of that you can put John O'Brien. He's in a killer-moode last few months, and can be put both left and right in both defence and midfield (even central if needed). This guy is just great.

indeed. I wouldn't even know who'll be captain now that Roy Keane is unavailable.

Steve Staunton will be captain and in our second game against Germany he should become the first ever Irish player to get 100 caps.

Don't go to hard on Keane. He wasn't completly to blame and it's just coming out now how some of the players actually agreed with Keane.

Most people are saying now that Cameroon will be the dark horses of the competition, getting as far as the quarters or maybe semi finals, which is true, but bear in mind that while Keane is by far our greatest player, he is not our only great player, but including Keane we could easily have been this years Croatia.

As for Robbie Keane, yes he is a great player, but the downside is that he is a striker who does NOT score goals naturally. Watching him play in several matches recently he has been fantastic, but his finishing has been abysmal. Watch out for Damien Duff.

Anyway back to the point. I voted for the Saudi's because Germany will have to win at least one game :}
