I preordered and got my game from my local GameStop. It arrived on 11/5.

I of course popped it right in and started with the Sumerians since their UU is an early one. I really like the victory screen.It let's you know quite a bit -- fun stuff.

Got it! Just got back from EB here in Kenner, LA. They had like 6 copies. I imagine it will be in all the big stores by tomorrow or Friday. I make out pretty good because I had suffered all of this time without PtW and now at least I got that with C3C Well, let the games begin

Got mine today at Gamestop in Rockford, IL. I called first to see if the shipment had come in (it had) and he asked if I pre-ordered. I said yes, and he said "Oh, you must be Jeff - you are the only one that pre-ordered this". I could't believe it. When I picked it up, I asked how many copies they had. They were busy and so answered "not very many."

Anywho, playing the Maya now. That enslave ability is awesome. I have 5 slave workers so far and haven't done a whole lot of combat.

Futureshop : They seems to have never heard of Conquest .. Can you believe it ???!!!

This is for Montreal. I expect it will be the the same in other Canadian metropolis .... for city and town maybe it will be longer For those who already got the game ... play a couple hours more for us !!!

question to people who have it:
i watched the movie at the start over at a friend's, and i must say i was less than impressed. that was kind of disappointing, because the one from PTW and the original were both pretty cool
it just seems so simple and short.
but, the startup screen (with the samurai dude) is pretty sweet.

Thanks Ibistat for that bit of Canadian info. Here in Toronto, the local shops are all saying basically the same thing - EB tomorrow morning, and some other local merchants tomorrow or Friday. Futureshop here as well doesn't even have it on their computer! Really bizarre.

Gamestop called me on Tuesday night and said it would be in on Wednesday morning. I go there, and they tell me it will be friday now. What is the point of reserving something? Anyway, I read the forums and it appeared the EB was the place to be. I searched for EBs near me, Iowa, and the closest one was an hours drive away and they had 5. I drove up last night and got a copy for me and a buddy. I have another friend who will by my reserved copy from me.

Thanks to everyone on the forum for all the good availablity info. Now I can enjoy my day off today.

I found stacks and stacks of copies here in Toronto at Fairview Mall (at the Don Mills subway station) at both EBworld and Compucentre. I believe EB was $5 cheaper.
