Regarding Best Buy - prior to heading to EB (and getting the game), I tried there with no sucess here in MD.

My Fed-ex guy delivered from EB an hour ago....I am so glad I cancelled my Amazon pre-order last weekend and went with EB. And the ten dollar gift rebate isn't going to hurt either.

After a few days, the game will probably be in stores in solid numbers.

When PTW came out, I went to Best Buy and the shelves were FULL with PTW games and PTW strategy guides. A cool sight!

I was wrong. We DO have an EB here. Two actually! I got it at the EB on Kansas Expressway here in Springfield, Mo. Can't play until tomorrow night, thanks to exams tomorrow!

EB said they would get it this week...
Radio Shack said 3 weeks...
Future Shop said they didn't have it
Haven't tried Best buy yet....I think it will come out later this week for us Canadians.

EDIT: does Wal-mart get some-what new releases?

I've got the game!!! Yea thanxs to everyone else who has the game i too got it from EB, Electronic Boquite or w/e.......And yea best Buy is thursday, i reside in MN so if ur here i got mine from ridgedale mall, and they still have quite a few in stock

But gonna go watch T-Wolves waste the Kings, have a good one all and Good LUCK can't wait to get back and play WWII the only thing that kept me playing CIV2 hopefully it keeps me in Civ3

I usually don't buy games at EB because of their higher prices but they definitely came through this time.

I cancelled my Amazon order and went to EB in Albuquerque and picked the game and the bonus CD (just asked for it). They had few left and expect more tomorrow. Loading Now!!!

Note EB Games has a discount rebate coupon for Conquests (maybe this has already been stated). If you buy Conquests before 11/15 you can send away for a $10 gift certificate which you can use at any EB Games affiliate.

There were a bunch of copies at the Embarcadero EB Games in SF, CA.

OK, can't delete my post... but read of this disk in another post.

Called the EBX store where I purchased Conquests and they responded blank-faced like the concept of a 'bonus disk' was completely foreign to them. So I called the EB Games at Powell St. in San Francisco and they said, sure, just bring your receipt from the other store, we've got 'em right here. So there ya have it.

I even checked some mom and pop place around the corner that never has games until a week or two later. He guessed a week.

Silly me thinking someone would have a game on the RELEASE DATE. And don't give me excuses or any of that "Oh it shipped on the 4th but won't be in the store until..... BS". Every other company and game in the world has their games in at least SOME store on the release date. Maybe Atari will pull the semantics card out and say, "Well we did release it on the release date."

Im getting pretty UPSET too. I placed an ordr (Pre-Paid) last Fri at GAMESTOP for C3C, and they said they will have it on the 5th.
I woke up yesterday Nov. 4th and was checking the Caller I.D.
and noticed GAMESTOP had called. I got all excited and called e'm
back and they said (O, we were just gonna let you know that
we will have it for you tommarow). O gee, thanks, get my hopes
up.

Nov. 5th Something woke me up realy early today. I call GAMESTOP and they said, (well we don't know, we haven't opened the UPS box yet) I said well, I hope you open it pretty soon!!, becuse I called BestBuy next door and theres is on the shelf. I Lied (BestBuy = Monday, Hopefully) I went through a big hassel, other stores Civ what?, GAMESTOP said 7hrs later.

Got it, loading on my Toshiba as I type; still hoping for a mac port. Picked it up at the local EB store. However, they didn't have the bonus CD as advertised. They took my name and number and are looking into it.

well i got it but guess what eb games didnt have a best of net or bonus cd with the game and my screen goes black after the atari splash screen

and yes i set the screen size and refresh rates to its proper setting
