As promised, my new regent civ game is starting. This one has 15 civs, so I will likely get tired of trying to destroy the AI and try for a more peaceful means of victory.
Here are the game settings.
I start at the top of the map, not by an ocean however.
I don't know how I can tell that is sugar...
After two warriors are completed, a settler is being built.
I found someone that is close to me.
It is the Spanish. I don't know if this is good or bad.
I didn't bother trading with them.
Their unique unit is a little bit later in the game, so Spain is the nation that I want to target first.
Moving west to find other civilizations.

U have some serious problems man...
Like did u know a city wont produce a settler till its size 3 so building one first when a city is founded is not a good idea

That's not true. A city can produce a settler if it is size two or above, and growing.Swiss Bezerker said:

I wasted two turns of production, that's not too bad isn't it? I try to time it right so when the city gets to 3, the settler can be built.
Found another civilization off to the west.
This seems to be somewhat meaningless at the beginning of the game.
This seems to be a little steep for the wheel...
Osaka is built right by the ivory.
That is a good deal, considering the Celts won't be on my attack list for some time.
The Celts are still having a better start than me, they need to be watched.
I'm wasting two turns of production again!
I'll send that down to the incense.
An overall view of the world I know.
The Celts are becoming very large. Hopefully they will stay peaceful with everyone.
Next time - More civs could be found, and a war could flare up.

I do build temples, and I did not switch governments in the second game because it was not in my best interest.
Anyway, the Celts secure a source of horses and are starting to block my route to the south.
My warrior found another civ.
It is the Ottomans. That is a good deal, considering that I will leave the Ottomans alone for a long time.
The Celts and the Ottomans and the distance to me.
The science rate is slow, looks like I need more cities.
The AI is keeping up with me in expansion this time...
A look at my three city empire. It is smaller than the Celts, but larger than Spain.
I am tied for first on score, meaning that I am keeping up.
One luxury resource is enough to get #1 on this so far.
The Incans find us, I don't know how or where they are.
Next time - Tension builds between me and Spain, will a war break out?

A view of what I know from the Arabian, Spanish, and Celtic empires.
A new civilization has been found to the southwest.
A demand from the Arabians. I am forced to give him alphabet, he would have declared war on me if I refused. I am not willing to waste time for a war at this point.
More civs, this one is directly to the south.
The civilization to the southwest of me is the Mongols. I want iron working to see if I have any nearby iron deposits.
I settle for this, the Mongols appear isolated.
I will have iron after Tokyo's culture expands.
This could have long lasting effects on my empire.
The Russians are somewhere, but it seems they are better off in technology than me.
Next time - Will Arabia get into a war with me?

A look at the northern part of the world. It is shared by me, Arabia, Spain, and the Celts.
I am the frontrunner in this game, but not by much.
I've met 8 other civs, some of which I haven't even talked to.
The last round of settlers are coming out, and then it is time to build up for war.
The first wonder is completed in this game. I am focused on a war soon, so I can't waste time building wonders.
The Incans are down there somewhere. This looks like a fair trade, since almost everyone else has alphabet anyway.

Most of my cities are getting ready for war.

I'm not in the mood to throw any more money at the Celts. If I wanted it so bad, I would have bought it off someone else.
The Maya live off in the west, and blowing most of my money on one tech doesn't seem worth it.
Units are stacking by the border for an upcoming war with Spain.
Tokyo's culture expands, I can now get the iron resource. I really do not need it at this time, but I will in the future.
That Spainsh warrior scares me walking around my territory...
With three units aimed at Seville and eight for the capital, I am ready to go!
War is declared with Spain. It is necessary to advance myself in the game.
Next time - The war with Spain!

I am worried about two warriors that may come up and attack Nara.
I capture Madrid. I have captured two of the four Spainsh cities.
Barcelona is further to the south and will be attacked soon.
Barcelona is captured and my troops move further south.
Some archers are sent up there to take care of those warriors.
Spain is looking for new land.
I tell the Mongols to leave me alone, even if they did declare war against me, they can't get enough troops to do any damage.
Spain, with one city left is desperate for peace. I don't give it to them.
The Arabians also want to colonize that land. I made it first.
Next time - Ending the war with Spain and setting my sights on Arabia.
