how about training in a trench warfare style game?

we will aim for a conquest game, on a pangea, with only grunts as troops?
no ponies nor artillery?

should hone the war like skills of all involved.

I have saw a game like that in the past and even had the same thought yesterday. Spooky.

took that as a yes.

variant:
no fast troops. EVER. no artillery. EVER.
will we make this an Always War game? we will see.
aim is to hone the slow warfare skills. no flanking, rushing or similar stuff.
this is the heavyweight championship slugfest.

this is a combo fun-training game.
there is NO MINIMUM SKILL LEVEL. though if youre a chietain level player, jut say so for roster placement.

thus im looking for players that want to move UP to regent-monarch
we will aim for a CONQUEST game.
we will play the FRENCH? (or TBD)
world will be a PANGEA, probably a small-standard (to make for a quicker game)
level - TBD (regent-monarch is prefered, as we would like some NooB's in on the fun)

I only got Vanilla, but I plan on going to TriCounty over the weekend, and I got a gift certificate from Christmas, so I should be able to get C3C. That is, if they have it.

On a related note, do you know if the EBGames was closed there? Since Gamespot bought 'em out and all.

I haven't been to TCMall in a while. I steer clear of the mall for the most part since the merchants there pay such a heafty price per square foot and then just pass it onto the consumer. I'm cheap.

If you can get just C3C that's good. Just don't spend more the $20 when the whole thing can be had at WalMart. I'm also willing to bet you could get it off of eBay for cheap but that's more trouble than it's worth.

Also, it would be impossible for me to get it on eBay, as I am only 16, don't have a paypal (with money, at least) and my mom would never let me use her credit card.

And as for the prices, video games cost the same everyhwere. When I want clothes I go to Forest Fair, or Cincinnati Mills, whichever you like.
