[GS] June 2019 Patch notes discussion

My first game rolled Cree. Had Netherlands to Northwest, Zulu to the North, and Germany to Northeast. Had my initial Warrior stumble across Ulundi with no health. One shot it. Bye bye Zulu. Netherland and Germany both denounce me. A few turns later, come across unescorted German Settler, mine. Build an army, head for Aachen, come across a Barbarian Army. 2 Warriors, 2 Scouts, 3 Catapults, 3 Archers. They proceed to wipe Berlin, then half my army. Aachen gets walls up just as its about to fall. Finally get Aachen, take out Barb camps. Consolidate my forces.
Meanwhile, Wilhelmina builds a pretty impressive attack force, and comes after Ulundi. We slugged it out for several turns, asked her several times for peace, Each time she wanted too much. But as I took out her army, she asked for less. Finally she asked for a white peace.

Maori having to spam Lumber Mills is really lame. Conservation is now for Lumber Mill spam, like everyone else, with the production increase to unimproved Forests and Rainforests completely meaningless.

Darn, I was hoping Firaxis would do something about the fact that the AI spams Holy Site districts like crazy. They would be so much more powerful if they just got more campus and theater squares.

So I played a game as Sweden last night and I was going for a religion. I was afraid I wasn't going to get it becuase other civs had a good lead in terms of Great Prophet points. IIRC, when I had started to get GPP, there were already two established religions and two civs were nearing the total required to get Great Prophets. For some reason, when they each reached and passed the total, they simply didn't claim their Great Prophets. I was able to catch up and get mine and found my religion with no problem, meanwhile their GPP had reached near 100. Has anyone else experienced this? If not, it maybe something worth paying attention to...

Quick question... I started a new game after the patch but I’m not getting the new Settler recommendation tooltip. Am I missing something?

The 2 civs already had the religion, the screen still showed them on top of the race for the prophet..

Trust me, I am hovering over the icon. Is there a long delay or something I need to turn on in the options like turn on advisors or something? Does it matter if you have settler selected vs using settler lens?

I had the settler selected.

It's been this way for a while. However, with the new GPP to Faith conversion, I would expect that civilizations with a religion would no longer earn Great Prophet Points. I wonder if it's not working properly until all Prophets are claimed.

Works fine for me - Even too fine - hovered over one icon on the brink of my sight and found out its coastal, didn't know that before. No big delay at all nothing has to be turned on... Mods active?
