Hello, all. I think I am really liking Civ7, but I want to love it.

1. Age Transition - How can you tell how soon the next Age is? I was in a war with three other Civs, about to take out three different cities at once, and the Age ended. A new Age and we're all buddy-buddy again. Ugh.

2. I wish things weren't so radically different in the next Age. It really feels like much of what I worked for is gone. Converting cities back to towns, two thirds of my Gold gone, etc. (Ok, that's not a question, just a comment.)

3. How about ALLOWING the player's leader to maintain their current Civ, but still giving the CHOICE to choose a new Civ at the beginning of each Age? (Just a suggestion.)

4. Civ VI had a way to cycle through all the units as well as see a list of current units. How do I do that in Civ VII?

5. I can't find Leaders' TOTAL amounts of Culture, Happiness, Science, etc., only how much they're earning per turn. Even my own. Is there a way? Or does it even matter?

6. How can you tell how much Religion is in each individual city/town?

7. How can you tell how close you are (or another Civ is) to winning the game? How do you compare your progress to the AI Civs to your own?

8. At this point, I truly hate the Crisis concept. The detriments are harsh and it feels like I'm being punished for playing. I can see maybe some minor setbacks now and then, but the current Crisis mechanic takes all the fun out of the end of EVERY Age.

Anyway, so far I'm having fun. Thanks for reading. Any insight appreciated.

The big thing in the top left corner with a % underneath it. That's the age progress meter. When it hits 100%, the age ends. Sometimes, you get a bonus turn. It's probably rounding 99.5% up to 100% on the display or something.

Ya, at 70% it will alert you by starting a random crisis. On normal speed, that is 2 turns per 1%, or 60 turns before it ends.

At the next era, most IPs start at 1 turn until friendly, if you were pals with them before. Towns only take 200 gold and 1 turn to change back into cities. Units in a commander often survive.

Just hover your pointer over your banner at the top right, and it will show all of that.

Click on the top left % icon, there you will see the 4 areas you can get victory points/achievements in. I don't think there is a way to compare it to other civs.

Crisis can be mitigated if you read the descriptions. For one example: Doctors heal sick units, and having "your" religion in a city means your God may protect you there.

Culture and Science are not (intended to be) a "pool" as Gold and Influence that you can spend from time to time, but rather each turn adds progress to the Civic and Tech currently researched. Same with Happiness, you can't really spend it on anything, it just goes towards a Celebration.

There is not really a quantity of Religion this time. Only the conversion of the Rural population, and the conversion of the Urban Population, which are displayed by the two religion icons under the Settlement banner.

Have you checked all the tabs and sub-screens in the Legacy Paths menu?

There is an advanced game setting to disable them if you wish so.
