To the South Binikos undergoes a slight revival, building a great many ships, and wiping out the Pirate presence, a new project is underway to expand the Ports and ship building capabilities of the island. This revival is in no small part due to a powerfull new ruling elite, who are essentially of the view that the world should be subjegated at their feet.
Attolia to the south also expands, managing to secure more infulence amoungst the surrounding lands, they have shifted their priorities from competing with Binikos on the sea to strengthen their military, and establish themselves as an Empire rather than a nation of traders.
Further to the east, The Kingdoms and Republics of the delta explodes, Lot collapses due to internal pressure and the other two nations take advantage, moving troops in to secure the rich lands. Acheron secures less than their counterpart; The Kingdom of Polita, however this has meant that they have assimilated less of the problems of the city states. Unfortunatly there have been a few skirmishes between these vulture like nations, which may break out into a war for total domination of the Nile.

Random Events:
The Krengels are becoming universally feared (+2 Dread).
Military:
The War in Singod occurs thusly;
Singod keeps its small secure area tightly manned, but also moves some men south to defend against any further advance of the krengel army in the region, morale however is low, as they are cut off from the rest of their country, and with the Krengels reputation, well, you can guess.
The Krengels, realising that they do not have the manpower to simply capture these fortress's manages to convince some of the engineers to betray their Singod masters, the families of those taken from Lois, being better educated than most have found themselves working to build forts. Some held resentment for their cruel master. Some took action. Many died because of this.
Unfortunatly for the Krengels, this breakthrough was not to be, as local Signod Commanders heard of what had happened and took swift action; killing the engineers leaving some few to maintain things. This had a knockon effect of informing ALL the engineers that they would be killed if they continued to entertain such thoughts, which has subdued them.
Meanwhile to the east, the Krengels are pushed further back, breaking their encirclement of the Singod Fortress's. This is mostly due to the large Gaznel force that landed down river to attack this army. The Krengel commander quickly became alarmed as his space to manouvre in was quickly becoming smaller, he retreated slowly, buying time by sending out raiding parties to distract his enemies.
Thus when Singod moved a large part of its force in a south west direction, the Krengel commander moved as many men as possible out of this attempt to encircle him. The raiding parties he left behind, most were quickly eliminated, a some elite horsemen survived however, and escaped south, and in a series of attacks seized control of south Singod eliminating the small amount of resistance in the area. The commander then announced a new Khanate, that of Sin.
This is all because the aforementioned Commander of the Krengel forces in the area had retreated as far as he wanted to, and the Allied armies were concentrating on him. The Singod advanced with a small force first, to draw off enemy ambushes. This worked well. Too well. As the Krengel commander allowed himself to appear the fool, his initial ambush attempts were thrown off. He proceeded to throw more such ambushes, and Singod again threw them away. The Singod commander fell for this trick, he saw the Krengel commander getting frustrated and irate, that he did not pay attention to the one thing that was not on his mind, the amount of land reclaimed, in fact he was a good way out the border. The next few days were ugly, as the Krengels attacks changed temperment completly, as he began to methodically punish the Singod commander for being too involved with the distractions he had thrown at him. The Singod commander for his part realizing his mistake retreated back to the relative safty of his country. The Raids and attacks continued to bite deep, but he made it back. The combined Gaznel and Singod force was weary, and in no shape to eliminate Sin, who used this time wisly to conserve strength and establish stronger ties with the people here, much of the work accomplished vy Gaznel missionaries has been reversed here, as they become a pin cushion for the regions troubles.
To the North the Gaznel put forth an attack, in an attempt to further drive the Krengels away, however few things about the Gaznel commanders knowledge places them in good stead, they are from what is a Mountain nation, valleys and the like. They are unused to this wide open space, and unused to how Horses can be used, their foray also ends badly when their cavalry are drawn off and eliminated, the Krengels approach their solid infantry/Archer formations more wearily, and settle upon a tactic of continuous raids and pinpricks, denying a the Gaznel a decesive battle, such raids were quite punishing initially as the solid blocks of men were easily flanked and their strong formations became a weakness. This results in poor morale for the Gaznel, as they acheive nothing and move no-where, these forces again decide to move back to the borders, and what is increasingly looking like a status quo.
(-casualities, brief summary; most Singod/Gaznel Cavalry dead, some infantry dead, Krengel losses mostly attributed to their attack upon the fortess's, although allowed in, this was costly, and not something they could sustain. other losses include some to the new nation of Sin, and of course the battles).
The Kingdom of Politia and Acheron suffer some losses due to the troubles of taking the former Republic of Lots lands under heel.
Rahinan watches as Huran takes over the former lands of Utha, and decides to take action also, seizing a small portion of land next to them and also some of the outlaying cities, Huran takes over central Utha. Tensions continue to rise between the two nations.
In Darude Philips son; Alexander, joins Philip on the battlefield, being educated by a few years in the court of Darude. Philip orders his son off with a large force of men to strike east quickly. Eriade who had been retreating quickly to defend its capital lost a few thousand to this attack as stragglers where quickly, and efficiently killed off. Philip reached the capital just after Eriades forces did.
Alexander takes this time to secure the rest of Eriade, defenceless the cities quickly surrender, and he joins his father at the Capital of Eriade. Who promptly dies. Some unknown disease...Alexander assumes control.
Shortly afterwards the Capital finds itself in revolt, as they dislike the siege, and their morale is low due to the loss of the rest of the country. The citizens revolt and kill the Eriade general, and open the city to Alexander who marches in, triumphant.
Alexander having completed his job, is ordered to stand his army down, but Alexander has higher ambitions that this, and raising levees from Eriade and the vetren army that he commands, is able to defeat the Emperor in battle, killing him.
Alexander announces that he is the Emperor of Darude and has himself crowned. His first few years of rule revolve around building a new capital; Alexandria, and building up the fleets, he has ambitions further that he wishes to see through.
And to the West Lois enters a new phase of civil war, two factions beating each other to pieces.
