Kazaa Trouble

The last three songs I've downloaded from Kazaa have had problems. All of them were by the White STripes, and all of them had the same problem - the entire song was one 30 second clip over and over. Very weird. I tried redownloading the songs from a different source, same problem.

Is anyone else experiencing this? I'm afraid that the powers-that-be are screwing with me. You know, there's a term for it - then they mess up songs to make filesharing programs worthless.

Sounds like someone has put out fake songs - keep looking for the real one. I also suggest using:

What sucks is that they have to use a clip from the real one to taunt me!

Oh, and what's the difference between Diet Kazaa and Kazaa Lite?

Buy the CD. Don't steal people's music.

Music companies are putting out songs that loop and / or fade in and out in the middle so that people who steal songs can't enjoy them.

Kazaa Lite is Kazaa without ads. The k++ versions include extra features. Diet kazaa installs any version of kazaa and removes ads and adds features.

IIRC Diet Kazaa has some trouble installing over Kazaa Lite: You need to back up kazaa lite's cd_clint.dll (or whatever) and replace the one diet kazaa overwrites it with when you install it.
