the capital of Khmer, built on top of a rice paddle and 1 tile from coast:sad:
That really prompts me to raze it...until i realize the Stonehenge was built there:mad:

Now comes the dilemma, should i raze it for a better placed city or should i just keep it for the stonehenge?

Could do either or, I guess. S'not a horrid site, but it's not a good one either. Is Stonehenge really worth that?

Its obvious. Raze it if you have a settler on hand. Stonehenge isn't going to make that big of a difference in the medieval era unless you plan on never getting drama. In the future, you will be wishing you had the extra food.;)

Its really difficult to tell without seeing what is in the FOW on the far side of the city. You are late enough for Stonehenge not to matter too much, the free Monument is powerful in the early game but not so much now. Without any further information I would burn it down and rebuild somewhere else.

Raze.

Fact- rebuilding = no unhappy pop

Fact- Science from ruins and a visual reminder of victory

razing is the superior.

Raze.

Fact- rebuilding = no unhappy pop

razing is the superior.

Fact- Dwight Schrute is superior to all of you

Fact- Raze that bummer of a city. I can see so much potential for it if it wasn't in a :smoke: spot.

With out seeing other cities, it is hard to tell. If your really need a port city in that region, then I guess that could force your hand. However, I would probably keep it, mainly since I do not see any overlap.

If you have an overlap, do not need any Great Prophets, the victory defeats the Khmer for good, and have a Settler ready, then burn baby, burn

I would raze it. It's almost 1000AD, I don't think the benefit of having Stonehenge now is worth it. Sury was kind enough not to chop those jungles.

Also, that's a terrible capital for the year the game is currently in, it's surrounded by unchopped jungles and its size is only 2 (Did they whip units and you just destroyed those units?)

Boil that dustspeck, boil, boil, boil!

Stonehenge has had its day, and that day has past.

I keep cities unless I can't afford them or they're in bad spots.

* We can see from the slider that you can afford it.
* That city isn't in a bad spot. It's in a good spot. The fact that it could be better doesn't make it bad.

Is that an earth script? The rivers look like they were generated by PerfectWorld but the land mass looks like Cambodia and you appear to be playing China.

Mark me down as another vote for Raze. That's actually one of the worst capital sites I've ever seen in this game. One tile off of the coast always chaps my hide, and there aren't even any great resources to compensate. The grassland will be nice once you've cleared the jungle, but that will take a while.

Also, as the other posters have already noted, Stonehenge is nearing its expiration date by 865 AD. As such, that Wonder shouldn't be a factor in your calculations.

I would keep, capitals are always worth it.
Not if they havent built any Wonders or founded a religion. Remember, what makes a Capitol good is extra resources in the BFC. Razing the city doesnt mean you lose them, it just means you have to re-build in that area to take advantage of them.

I say raze for sure. SH isnt worth it at this point. I would send a settler and 3 or 4 workers in there and re-do it on the coast, and chop/cottage that jungle.

I say that if you have mathematics, keep it and build a fort on the tile where the Khmer worker is so you have coastal access. But this all depends on where you are financially and how far the city is from your capitol...

I'd keep it, but that is just me and my newbie reasoning...:D

So I think I will just raze it...does anyone has an idea where i should place my new city?

From what I can see I would rebuild 1 tile to the north and configure it for a hammer site and build a fishing village 3 south to pick up the 2 fish tiles, it should be able to support 6 specialists at size 10.
