ill try to start a game an melee attack a city,

meanwhile untill we set this matter - if its an installation error, or dll error,

plz play with the patch that says only sevo - if you get a ctd there - then it means that it is one of sevo mod thats causeing problem - and its highley inlikley.

....****:::wife is yelling im not allowed to test further..anyway..delte them with kublai kahn, and you can play without CTD!!!

yap me too... it ctd me when i started attacking a city and grouping some soldiers together.

so,

we have to test the only sevo mod, and for now leave dale mod out of the picture.

ill start a test game with this patch

Kel, im sorry bro...really have to go...try yourself..one of those is causing the CTD..or maybe 2, or combination...anyway...that's why i never had the CTD.i was palying chieftain and made sure all the wonders were mine!! and i never let any army come to my cities..principle:"on fights, first kick ass, then ask" LOL

because in alans savegame...kublai kahn build these wonders...the Temple of artemis for example gives you +25% city defence...this might be the reason for CTD on attacking his cities

100% sure...i took out the wonders and played 10turns , attacking his cities with everything i could cheat

capturing his cities..still no CTD..it must be one of the listed wonders...artemis most likely

i see - its a good possibilty -

artemis is a wonder thats new to warlords and also made by one of the modders here - perhaps i miss merged them.

narrowing down:
temple of artemis+great wall = NO!!! CTD
temple of artemis + great wall + CITY WALL = CTD!!!!!!!!!!!!!

oh btw..sorry to the CTD people...thought first it was a installation problem..but it seems it is NOT..
and as the Dale's mod...i made a huge error by thinking it was dale..maybe something is wrong with dale too..not sure..

but as far as i can see....it was something different eventually but ok now im getting very close to tracking the prob..
only 3 buidlings(or a combination) left
I'm sure keldath will figure out the prob very soon and release a patch...with the dale included again! right kel? we can try dale again if we find this ctd

in my game,

only one wonder is 2 turns away from build,
but, i took the city with this out with the editor,
and again it crushed. the wonder is sistiane chapel

so...im not sure its a wonder,
unless you'r saying that even after the wonder is build its causing the ctd?

yeah..and son fall asleep on the sofa instead of in the car...so now we must wait till he wake up!

anyway...city walls are the error! deleted all wonders on the alans map..
attacking barbarian city with city walls= CTD
kublai kahn with city walls= CTD
city without city walls = NO CTD..
it's the city walls
...this time i don't say im 100% sure!! 99% sure
I made so many mistakes on tracking down this needle in the hoi-stack...i won't say 100% sure never again..but ok, 99% sure is fair enough don't you think? hehehe

maybe as temporarily solution..you can release a patch, disabling the city walls...and then we'll see if anyone still gets a CTD...

i tested and its not a wonder ctd,

anyway, im on the only sevo patch now, soo....

bt if you say its the walls, ill recheck this.
