Keldath addons

i think that the war between ai's is a factor of the ctds.
whats this dales stack attack thing
 
I guess he's sleeping already now..in israel it's pretty late now...at least im now 100% it's the stack attack..with only 1 archer, no CTD...4 Archers= CTD...comp uses stack attack of dale's mod!
 
so guys, im going to sleep too :) or watch a nice erotica movie with my wife! LOL :) heheheI hope Keldath my troubleshooting helped and it's really the Stack attack and keldath can fix it now he knows the cause of errors..
anyway..people without war getting CTD..im sure it's the stack attack...AI versus barbarian also uses stack attack taqtics!!

yap -your proffessors are right...but in our case - the sulotion is a needle in a large hatsetak.....

im sure it the declaring war is wrong.

but dont thing that dale is the cause the stack - ive compiled a sevo for warlords dll file

here it it - try to check it - perhaps - you will be succesfull :)

im realy tired - i spent so much time on this - i must rest,

ive now updated the vanilla version to include the ub.

once i test it -
and have the text error fixed.

yeah its late here... im retiring to watch a movie with my brother now,

im not sure if its the stack attack acctually - it think i at first used the comlete combat mod by dale - took what i needed -
but then i used only missiles and r bomb with the seperate sdk,

so here is a ling for a sevo for warlords only file.

though it will not include the r bomb at all and the missiles -
so do this use a program like winmerge - to delete - any reffernce
like that in the file - unitinfo.xml -

whats stack attack???
this sucks its 3 in the afternoon where i am and every one is going to sleep
 
so keldath are you now trying to remove the stack attack portion of your mod or trying to make it work?

im preparing two patches -

1. only missiles

2. only the sevo changes


try them in that order,

if you guys are right -thanks to mrgeanie extenssive testing of it - he is possitivley sure - that the stack attack is the cause - i tend to agree ,

the patches will be on shortley!
 
is there no way to include this stack attack because it seems like a good thing, or does it just conflict with too much in the game.

first ill make sure the new fixes work - then ill check stack attack - its all up to you guys - helping me testing

this is install notes:

1. to be installed on patch 2 - wr - first of all

2. open the new patch - overwrite the files in the kelgir folder.

this patch includes only missiles - without ranged bombared and no stackattack

the next patch will include none of dales stuff.

i think we did it - passed around 100 turns with the first patch here - all seem to work.

ill wait for your respones and report before im sure.

so ill get bombard also in -but first plz tell me that you did a full game with no ctd, used missiles -

I have to admit...I love the original SevoMod with all the additions...and I enjoy this new one for Warlords just as much.

But I sometimes wonder if it is worth all the effort.

It takes me anywhere between 20-30 minutes just to get the game loaded...

Then it takes between 2-5 minutes to get the savegame loaded.

Once loaded it takes on average 30-120 seconds for each turn to complete and sometimes it can take as long as 5 minutes (I have even seen it go up to 10 minutes).

Now I know it's not my computer...or compatibility issues. Civ runs just fine without the mod installed.

So what can I do to improve game performance and reduce loading time of the mod? Because I'd really hate to not use it anymore...it's a tremendous improvement from the standard game.

Thats Why The Game Takes Longer To Run - Perhaps You Need To Clean You Cheache,
It Might Help,

Great job, man. I just wanted to give you my update so far. I installed the "first" patch you have released tonight w/ missles and started from the beginning. I have stopped at turn 166 with NO CTD's!!! I apologize for not playing with the second patch, but I don't think it was released when I installed the first, but could have been my mistake.

One thing I'm noticing is the Goodie Huts. I am using smartmap and I don't know if it is an internal problem or what, but when I installed the above mentioned patch, I constantly received (1) Settlers and (2) Workers. I had to continuously start over b/c I don't find that fair.

Talk to ya tomorrow - I'll be working on testing again in the morning.
