I kind of love J Cole but my young friends make fun of me for it because he’s boring and unkempt

Boring nah, and unkempt is a point in favor in my book. I don't "love" J Cole by any means but I do really like that song, just heard it over the weekend for the first time. He has a few other songs that are really good, Lost Ones actually almost made me cry a little

Not he himself but his sound. He doesn’t have wild or trappy beats and says lots of words. To young people that’s boring. I like it a lot but I’m definitely the odd one out
