OK, now I see what you mean Killer!

I can create a pbem or hotseat game without going online by disconnecting the modem before I start the Multiplayer option (in that case it automatically goes into "Local". I didn't know that before.

Thank goodness, I thought I had to use Gamespy. I was wrong about that.

But does anybody else find the email game creation kind of confusing?

ah, if so, wildfire, there was a mistake assigning cities. just abandon one, please, and the units that come with it (the one where there's NO settler in it).......

i did my turn and a friend's 11 year old boy kep presing continue game and when i noticed it said is wildfires turn and baam u had 2 cities.............

yeah is just taht i have been in a few PBEM games where people cheat nothing against wildfire

If we find someone cheating, then they don't get invited to play in the next game. Otherwise we trust.


If you find someone is cheating, email one of the moderators.

Started the game with 1 spear, 1 warrior, 2 workers, 1 settler. Is this correct? City holds granary, barracks and temple. Culture at 20-something.

Stormhold is favourably terrained.

Game will be emailed.

Add : I have renamed the game to Killer01.sav. Killer, each time the game passes back to you, pls rename as +1, so that we know which turn it is and don't mess up all the files.

Indeed. In this small (?) PBEM community of ours, a player's reputation will not be limited to only one game. If he's found out, word will get around quickly and his reputation will be ruined... He'll find it hard to join another game, esp if the mods are into it. And some posters have very long memories....

Besides, stalin, you know where his position is, so I'll say it's one down for Wildfire.

Lets all be paranoid. YAYYY. I will abandon the city, even though i haven't even gotten the game yet . Thats nice to start out with though KD. I hate building granaries

Just want to make sure I didn't start out with more (or less) than what was intended...

I dislike this kind of start, but at least I got a good first city (in a less-than-desired world position)...
