Kim Jong-il Instructs Footballers by Invisible Phone

and try this one from al-jazeera

Link to video.

So, I watched the video. Things we can learn about North Korea:

  • Parents care about their children.
  • Children are indoctrinated to love Great Leader and Dear Leader from a very early age.
  • The populace lives in a constant siege mentality and state of war.
  • The place is so despotic it is almost a parody of itself: Cheerleaders and talking of being in a war is supposed to encourage greater production...
  • Unreasonable work quotas are set and the workers must then comply.
  • One listens to propaganda music while working. Not to mention the propaganda wall paintings.
  • When Great Leader General Kim was a kid he wore wet sneakers in solidarity with his poor countrymen, and shared his food with hungry farmers. I guess he grew up after a while...
  • Even when they try to make a good impression, they can't avoid having power outages.
  • Excusing ones bad work is so common that the body language doesn't even show a hint of remorse!
  • Any and all problems are blamed on traitors, imperialists and first and foremost the USA.
  • After the blackout one must increase one's efforts so that one can still achieve the production quota.
  • I never did learn if they managed to fulfill their quota, but their work was doubleplus 100% good.
  • Kim Jong-il's great work, iron will and unshakable confidence will save the great enterprise of socialism through science.
  • The North Korean TV test signal is a Philips PM5544, the same one Norway used until sometime in the 90's.
  • The enemy/American dogs/monsters are totally evil. They bomb schools and houses, and they must all be destroyed. Everywhere.

This was some of the best North Korea could show of normal daily life there.

Some of the best...
