King Istvan of Hungeria

The face looks great, and if you had not tell i would have trouble knowing it was a reskined Charlemagen, great. But the clothes and especially the hair does need a better texture.

Hmmm, the fact is that this is NOT based on Charlemagne (only the crown), I guess. (but it should be:))

Oh^^ i guees i misunderstood the comment about Charle. :mischief:

Not bad, Zerver.
But if you allow me, I'd make a suggestion, please check the following post I made some time ago:

You'd need to do only minor corrections to Charlemagne, mainly to the crown, and you'd got one authentic leader.

I agree, Charlemagne would make a better Szent István király, especially 'cause they both had long hair, and Augustus (if this was originally Augustus) doesn't.
But this isn't bad either.

Looks promising. I really like to use it for my magyar mod as well as your units. Although I support what Avain said before, it would be also okay if you make the current leaderhead more detailed. I also thought of making a Kossuth leaderhead by reusing Cyrus' head (the persian guy you know) or Árpád by using Genghis Khans clothes and Saladins head but I gave it up since I am not talented in creating graphical stuff. I would be glad if anybody would spend his time for doing this. A Széchenyi or a Matthias Corvinus leaderhead would be welcome as well...

Men, I was using the static Istvan's picture from Magyar mod. But now I understand that it could be also nice idea about basing on Charlemagne. I will use this cloth model for another LH in my MegaSecret(yet)SuperProject (the name is overdone, sorry). Ok, thanks ;)

Yes, please do finish this leaderhead instead of shelving it or simply replacing the model. There are far too many good prospective leaders from Europe with the generic beard and crown for our current selection to handle. We don't want ten different Charlamagnes.

It's a good leaderhead, but is it shaded at all? (the shiny stuff that appears in game?)

He shouldn't have an imperial crown though, as he was a king and not an emperor. It's not until the Renaissance that European rulers started wearing imperial crowns (though I don't know the if and when Hungarian monarchs adopted it).

dude the pics are not showing inthe thread
