Kingdom Come: Deception (Game Thread)

If it isn't Pzelda, good game wolves. If it is Pzelda his flip should clarify things for whoever is left. I think that is the best we can do with the soup sandwich we made of this game, so still good game wolves.

And great game Arakhor.

You're most welcome, Tim. :)

I can't believe I'm voting to lynch my top town alongside my top wolf. :crazyeye:

When did it become my literacy theory? I started out the day saying "there's two groups, the claimed literate and the three probably illiterate and we need to find the wolf among the three illiterate first" and no one said "huh, what do you mean there's a literate wolf?" Everyone has been acting for days on the basic idea that we were looking for the literate wolf. It wasn't my idea when we were bouncing Marcher off of G1K. Nobody questioned the 'literate wolf' idea anywhere along the path.

The only part of this that is mine is that I really want to know how the guy who proposed the literate wolf theory in the first place...if he is town...having just fought for his life against "the other literate" turned around with Marcher not even cold in the ground and saw you drop "oh by the way I can read" and didn't flip right the heck out. If he is so town and the supposed literate wolf just popped as an obviously illiterate henchman he had to be seeing the writing on the wall...and all of a sudden there you are like a gift...that he ignores? How's that even happen?

On the other side, we are in position to just turbo lynch G1K, seriously...and you drop that you are literate. I cannot fathom how we all wandered off in the general direction of Tak, except of course for the fact that townTak never does thing one to help the town so it seemed reasonable. But how did you just forget all about the "find the literate wolf" project when from your point of view there was only one suspect?

FYI

If anyone thinks that wolfTim finds himself on a two man wagon with a wolf buddy while Rakkoon is running away I am genuinely offended. The two man wagons during the collective insanity of the supertie mean as little or less.

Jo, where do you go if TS flips red? I think a TS Pzelda team is more likely. Flip Pzelda, and if he is some illiterate hedge bandit G1K must die. If he really is red literate than G1K is a good guy.

This town is a trainwreck.

FYI, that theory came up with Gamez and me debating the matter, but curiously no one ever doubted it till now. That makes me wonder if the wolves wanted us to keep us believing that there was a literate wolf when there is none at all.

Well, I'm not so sure about keeping the literate wolf theory, but that seems to be one of the few things we have.

This town is a trainwreck.

Indeed

The dead are probably having a good time reading this chaos.

Right now, I'd be willing to lynch both Zelda and Jo. I'm clearing Tim for this round and if TS is a wolf we can sort that at next vote, because now he is looking fairly reasonable (plus he also sus the same people I do). The problem is that Zelda claimed literacy, when it made no sense to. Why? I know Tim thinks it was to 'save' me form certain lynch, but I cant really find another reason for that and since I'm not a wolf that is troubling lol. Yet, holding up that info was not the townie thing to do and that itself is reason enough.

Well, it is still a 50% chance of not losing so I'm going to vote: Zelda as well.

It's amusing that if we got that literacy theory right and red Zelda flips as literate, the I'll get NK and we will be back at this chaos at final lynch lol

I can't believe I'm voting to lynch my top town alongside my top wolf. :crazyeye:

Zelda used to be my top townie like yesterday, so yeah what a mess :crazyeye:

About to clock in at work. Good luck town. At least one wolf on that wagon of Zelda, because I know I'm town.

See you soon, hopefully with a wolf lynch.

Yeah, at that point it is coin flip territory, for me at least. I'm not so sure you get NKed though. If Pzelda flips wolf on my wild theory out of the blue I am gonna have just as much town cred going and the final wolf might be more afraid of me figuring them out because I have more experience with the candidates.

That said, I think a red Pzelda flip is most likely going to be in the henchman bandit probably illiterate category and that will be that.

I'm considering this question: What would have happened given the state of the thread if we had turbolynched you and you had flipped as literate loyal knight? I suspect that the madness to lynch the literate wolf would have continued and next to the blocks would have been anyone who was still ambiguous about whether they could read. Obviously that included Pzelda. If he flips as literate wolf would his henchman also be at risk there? Jo would have been. Tak would not. TS would not...except for the fact that I never really believed his illiteracy claim, unfortunately. So ether potential illiterate henchman type might have agreed that keeping you alive and hoping to distract from the literacy question altogether was a better bet.

If it plays out this way I am gonna blame you for not just ruthlessly saying "we wanted a literate wolf and I know it isn't me, I shall not rest until Pzelda is dead" long about the first time you saw that he was literate.

Fair enough. If I am right you better be too.

Well, hope for the best.

What kept me from going after Zelda was the way he revealed to be literate. I was thinking "no way that a wolf would just deliver himself to town like that, coming out literate out of the blue and getting that bad attention made little sense as mafia and was probably just a townie trying to clear things up", and to be fair most of town went with that. But yeah, keeping that info was no good and we should have dealt with that way before.

Yeah you should have pressed that case. I think to be honest the town might have gone against you, but then we'd be here with Takhisis in your place and we'd be turboing Pzelda. If you really are town and he really is literate wolf. Not that having Tak at LYLO, twice, would have been spectacular either necessarily.

Unfortunately it is really obvious why a red wolf G1K would absolutely not press that case, so the fact that you didn't is not a good look.

Both wolves in that case. I think they used the length of this day to their benefit. I don't want to, but I'm starting doubting even Tim. He pushes me over Golden Knight for a stupid claim. I think I pushed most players this game and I def pushed Golden Knight.

Late Afternoon Tally
Pzelda (3): Timsup2nothin, JohannaK, Golden1Knight
Golden1Knight (1): Pzelda
JohannaK (1): Topsecret

There are four hours left to vote.

This sounds like a lie. I think you haven't noticed it because you can't really scumread players as wolf and for that reaon you either sheeped cases of other people or bussed.

The problem is that you pushed G1K fine when it was sort of uncertain, but right when you should have been totally convinced and gone after him like a tunnel rat you mysteriously stopped.

I can't do much with Tim tunneling me. It loses town the game, but maybe end's better.

@JohannaK why are you voting me? Are you with Tim after all?

I was absolutely convinced that it's Golden Knight with Johanna entering this day, but your terrible tunnel made me consider other options too. I don't know what it is if not powerwolfing to deflect votes from the two of them like this.
I still think it's Jo and Knight and that you're town but I'm frustrated by your unfair tunnel as there's no way I can defend myself as it's based on a single action I don't really find important.

C'mon man, you have got to see where the tunneling comes from, right?

Pzelda day three: one o' these two here must be the literate wolf, lynch lynch lynch...

Pzelda at twilight: darn, lynched the wrong one...he's a wolf, but not the literate wolf

Pzelda day four: okay, now I know absolutely who the literate wolf y'all are looking for is...oh by the way let me confuse you here...

We spent all of day three talking about lynching the literate wolf. How could you start day four thinking it wasn't important? I mean, I get it, I'm tunneled...but I just don't see any way out of it because that's just too strange for me to get past.

I didn't really scumread Marcher d3. He was a shady figure but I found some of his stuff ok and he was trying, giving us reads and answering my questions. I don't think he would get tied there without other wolves bussing him.
I don't think I said anything like that d4. I only claimed that I would like to get letter d4 and no one really reacted to that and fully claimed d5. So, it might have been confusing but that wasn't my intention. You know that I'm usually chaotic town and way more systematic as scum.

My bad, I am off by a day there. Day four we finally "resolved" the literate wolf theory. We lynched a wolf that turned out illiterate. The next day by all sensible thinking we should have just turboed the other candidate for "literate wolf."

Why didn't we? Because all of a sudden we had yet another candidate.

But why didn't you?
