Kingdom Come: Deception (Game Thread)

Yesterday we did exactly what I set out to avoid...let towny (or maybe a bit tarnished) Tim be trusted with the lynch call. I may usually be trustworthy, but I am almost always wrong and people need to get that. The only time I've ever been right is when Raskol told me who a wolf was, and now I lynched Raskol so the chance of me being right is now approaching zero.

I'm going to quit looking for wolves, since basically everyone who looked wolfy except me has now somehow "proven" towny, and try the different approach of setting out the most towny thing I can find about everyone.

Csargo-claimed as doctor, in a game that apparently does have a doctor, and did not get counterclaimed. That's pretty seriously towny.
Gamez-claimed to be the letter writer rather than letting what was shaping up to be an epic source of confusion fester. Letter writer might be either way, but I think ending the confusion was very towny.
Samson-claimed as masons with Dolbster. Dolbster is definitely town and cosigned the claim. That's pretty seriously towny.

Those are the easy ones.

The fact that supertie held is dissapointing in a way tbh

If you are still reading this I think the only reason it held was because too many people believed that it really wasn't a tie at all. In the world of the wolves TS claim was believable and they were perfectly happy with Raskol lynched and me holding the bag.

Gamez is just Zack from Mario, I don't see how that ability is useful in anyway.

I don't think it's statistically possible that none of the tied group were scum. No movement means scum were confident TS's claim was true/TS is scum/scum knew TS's ability.

I also hated GK's self-vote at the end of the round, so there's that.

I didn't actually put anything in the rules to forbid self-voting, but I would prefer that people not do that.

Well, I did sort of wonder if TS was going to jump a last second G1K vote, which would have been hilarious if nothing else. Thirteen players and he got lynched on two votes, one of them his own...you don't see that every day.

It would have been just desserts, people just dont self-vote but otoh I get the vote in that context. I myself ended up voting Tak in spite of firmly believing he's town just for the sake of the six-way tie.

I suppose scum let it happen because they felt like they weren't in danger i.e. were not strong suspects, even with the six-way.

Ultimately, the only strong suspect to emerge from that is me. Just about everyone else can say "what? I didn't vote for Raskol" and the two that did can say "Tim told me to."

However, could you help me out with my project? Can you point out anything you have done that was particularly townie? I'm not really finding anything...

Hilarious indeed lol

Figured I'd look more townie if I sticked my neck like that, way too many people read me as scummy and we really dont need another townie lynch.

Csargo is right, there was most likely scum amongst the tie, but if they didnt take up the offer to make it a two-way they felt safe they werent gonna be a target.

Well, I don't know. So far all you've got is claims, but those are less townie things and more confirmation of towniness.

Towniness is more of a gut feeling. It's a matter of timing, tone, and content. Mostly tone. There's certainly townie actions like leading the charge on a wolf wagon or saving a fellow townie, but I cant say that anyone has done these this game yet.

Samson is cleared by Dolbster flip, other than that pzelda is the only other person who I'm confident in saying they are town. To a lesser extent I probably wouldn't consider Tims until later in the game.

Other than those three I feel like everyone else is far below their level.

Other than Csargo and Sampson, I have no idea who to trust. The runaway wagon and the six way tie have thrown off my usual method of finding baddies.

Hello! I am the dog's brown-haired owner. Please stop staring at my bosom. These days I've been letting the dog play around. On the first night he sat outside JohannaK's house and JK went nowhere; on the second he sat outside Tsargo's and nobody visited Tsargo's house.

Sadly, the dog refuses to follow any more people at night after such boring nights. The most I can get him to do now is sit around here and bark if anybody approaches the mill.
