Kingdom Come: Deception (Game Thread)

Let's see what happens when I vote: LordArgon.

What is your role? You probably won't die: Csargo or Samson are far more likely to go before you, with GR to follow soon afterward.

@LordArgon please respond to this soon so we can make informed decisions.

Well considering he has five votes... I don't know how much he's flying under the ol' radar.
See the above, I was commenting as I went. It was actually weird to suddenly find Marcher Jovian taking the lead like that.

My dog is suddenly barking the word WAGGONOMICS over and over.

But @MarcherJovian don't think I am not willing to switch back. I am.

I think one or the other of these two are guilty.

Gotcha. Makes more sense now.

Right, but remember under these conditions, Argon will die unless the tie is broken or I switch.

Also, damn you for getting ahead of me.

Interesting, let's see who comes to save LA's possibly wolfskin
I'm not convinced MJ isn't a wolf though...

Like I said before, the main three I trust are Csargo, Samson, and Zelda.

Csargo is voting for me.
Samson is voting for Jo.
Zelda is voting for you.

Jo, switching still would've had MJ as the lynch candidate because I break ties. Doesn't matter. This is more effective.

This... oh my god, that's genius. :lmao:

It's more like acute paranoia, but it does explain some things because as a wolf I thought like that all the time. The fact that other wolves don't actually surprises me, which is perhaps worrisome...

I'm actually in favor of TS staying on some low level candidate or out of the vote completely. I want to see what comes out of the woodwork when the wagons are actually tied.

Hmmm, shouldn't we make a real tie, maybe? So we keep MJ under threat too
He's still under threat. But for me to switch, I need someone to move onto Argon. I'm not going anywhere until he talks.

Although I may switch back to MJ.

I think one of them is a wolf and I want both of them to know I'm willing to go for whichever sounds more suspicious, so neither is off the hook.

I'm still leaning more towards MJ, honestly, but Argon needs claim.

Without me in the mix, the mafia will be scared to have a tie. Because they don't know if they are up for a lynch or not. We need @Samson, @Csargo, or @pzelda to switch to LA and I'll go somewhere else.

There it is.

Someone is lying. Why the hell would the wolves steal a letter?
Fair enough, I missed that. And in his defense, the wolves knew exactly where the letter was going so it wouldn't have been too hard to steal. But I'm not convinced the letter was stolen, or that a stealing mechanic exists in the game. Maybe I just have a horrible attention span for detail in this game. As I said, I have confirmation that the letter was delivered to MJ's residence but not confirmation that it was physically received/opened by him. I don't trust any of the other literates, although I believe one of them is another member of the loyalist court or King Wenceslaus himself, and the others are wolves.

Why would the wolves steal the letter? Assuming the mechanic to steal is there, probably just to confuse the town. Or we have a third independent party roving around. If I am lying about sending a letter to MJ, somebody else can speak up and prove me a liar, but then they also reveal themselves as the letter thief when I flip town.

A much more likely outcome is that MJ is lying about not having received the letter. If he does flip town, then the letter was stolen, and being that you @Golden1Knight are the only other known literate, that is a bad look for you.

I was honest with Dolbster when I said I was not a paragon of townieness. I am expendable to the town, I must admit. So don't feel to bad if you succeed in hanging me.

I have been trying to stay on the thin line of being to sketchy to nightkill, but not too wolfy, but it is hard.

Unless you are also mafia and therefore the mafia is not scared because they know the tiebreaker will protect them. If your tiebreaker kills another town, I don't think it's an ability that really benefits the town very much.

MJ's defense is exactly what I would expect from a wolf. But I don't know what to do about Argon. Being a survivor could explain some of his behavior. It's difficult for me to trust Argon when he lied about his power as a VT.

Are you third-party?
