Kingdom Come: Deception (Game Thread)

Also where did we determine @pzelda to be a literate nobleman? I need to go back and reread some stuff before the EOD but I have to drive several hours away tomorrow for some work stuff so I might not get back until after twilight and I'm running in circles at the moment trying to get ready for tomorrow.

Commence wild random wagon jumping and Chinese fire drilling as if you have been seriously studying all this time in 10...9...8...
I was leaning towards jumping on GK today anyways, as he probably knows based off of what I sent him last night, assuming he can actually read.

He just belched it out into the wild about a page back, which part of me read as "wolf stirring chaos" and part of me read as "panicked villager just throwing out something on their mind."

Are there any villagers who think that lynching me would somehow clarify things enough for them to win this game at LYLO?

I will say your plan to identify the town will make you look a lot more suspicious if none of those people get NK'ed.

Anyone got a tally at least?

I will say your plan to identify the town will make you look a lot more suspicious if none of those people get NK'ed.

I'm more concerned that I might have gotten you NKed as my only town read.

Tonight flavor might read "the exhausted villagers stood around mutely until the hangman came and put one of them out of their misery..."

Am I wrong about EoD time?

Note, this is distinctly plausible.

@Golden1Knight What's going on? Where's your vote?

last 24 hours have been a little bit problematic, but here I am

Seems like I'm the wagon of the day. Any solid reason to vote me beyond the 'looks scummy' classic vote? need to say I'm kinda surprised here, I've been chasing MJ for some time and I thought this was going to make me a little more townie, at least.

@Golden1Knight did you get my letter last night?

Yes, got it. It says I'm alive and that if I am innocent, that's absolutely, totally, and in all other ways inconceivable lol

24h to go yet

Okay, since you are here G1K...

I kinda like the "look I pushed Marcher" towny claim, but can you find me a villager other than yourself? Some sort of easy to follow clear?

Now that I know I have time I know I could put together seven cases clearly proving that we are all wolves. Finding a way to really convince myself that someone other than Gamez is a villager seems to be eluding me.

Why do you have Gamez so high?

If TS is scum, then I think it's highly likely that Tims is scum with him. From how they've interacted in the thread. Think TS could fit almost anywhere, so it's a bit tricky.

I find Tims independently scummy for the stuff he was saying EoD yesterday.

Gamez/GK makes sense to me as well.

Jovian and GK/Gamez are mutually exclusive.

I believe that our late doctor has some wisdom to share. The way this game is going, Tim/TS being the last wolves is something to think about.

Right now, I have GR and Zelda as kinda townie. GR due to all that letter mess and his tone, and Zelda for his tone, and revealing being literate (should have been done way earlier, but still he could've keep that to himself if wolf).

Everyone else could be scum, that is Jo/Tak/Tim/TS

We could try. For now, as posted above, Zelda is looking even more town by revealing literacy at this point. Thats not something a wolf would do with our 'literate wolf' theory going on.

Well you are 100% confirmed literate now since the last letter you got I already exposed the wording of.

Here is a list of the remaining living players and some questions about each of them. I agree with Tims notion that the best thing to do is find the town because a case could be built on all these players. For example:

1. Timsup2nothin - Could be leading the town as a wolf. I'm on the fence right now. Your reads deserve another read.
3. Topsecret - Role is real but still it could be a wolf role. I wouldn't want to claim that role as a wolf though. Leaning towards town for me.
4. Takhisis - bark bark? Inclined to believe town and just Tak being Tak but also want to lynch because it's Tak. My judgement is clouded.
5. Pzelda - Is the literate nobleman just a cover role? In the flavor of the game, the specific role claimed is the King's local captain or something. That specific role would not be a wolf, but it also makes perfect sense as a cover role. I also wanted to avoid roleclaiming as a nobleman since I thought it might make me an early target but I was forced because of the letter fiasco, so I get it.
7. JohannaK - Possible hiding scum. No real association with any other players, quiet most of the game. Roleclaimed as the miller. Probably town but not certain.
12. GamezRule - town obviously
15. Golden1Knight - Well your literacy is unquestioned. Lots of other questions though. My gut says town but my I do have acid reflux.

The above isn't really intended to be helpful but a clear view of who is alive might help sort things out. This game feels almost hopeless at the moment because I feel like a six-sided die would have an equal chance of finding a wolf as making a clear case for somebody. I'll probably be dead tomorrow but I suck at making reads so my usefulness is limited anyways.

unvote for now since I'm not decided on anything.

The problem is that the 'literate wolf' theory then still points to you as the best lynch candidate.

Now that I know I have all this time I will find my own villagers if I have to.

We are not lynching Gamez.

Indeed. But I'm not a wolf, and that bugs me. Some wolf could be hiding his literacy (kinda unlikely now that zelda claimed to be literate, as someone said before there are enough literate people for a medieval setup) or maybe there are 0 literate wolfs, which is unlikely as well. You can lynch me to be sure, but I don't think that's a good use of the last mislynch.

Now that I know I have all this time I will find my own villagers if I have to.

We are not lynching Gamez.

I have started with Tak but already gave up. His sudden changes of roleplay and shaddy roleclaim being the main reasons. Could be either a brazen wolf or a brazen villager, that craziness goes both ways.

Are there any villagers who think that lynching me would somehow clarify things enough for them to win this game at LYLO?
Even if you flip town, this actually could help because everybody seems to be walking in your shadow. It could force the wolves to speak up or be lynched. Thoughts anyone?

I feel like one of Tak/Jo is scum and one of Tim/G1K is scum.

vote: Takhisis for now, I think lynching the most ambiguous player right now is the best move.

sorry for triple posting

I dunno man, there could be one more literate person, who is the wolf laughing his butt off. I was thinking flipping G1K resolves Pzelda, but it really doesn't.

What do we know about the mafia?

Csargo was at least roleblocked. Remember?

And one of them is/was a strongman.

I'm not so sure I trust our friendly neighborhood Miller over there.

I'm not very sure what to do. I'm considering voting Pzelda. I want to know why? Why have you held on to that bit of info till now?

I don't like to claim early. I still find the whle literacy/illiteracy discussion as possibly derailing, but I also see that it's somehow important to have a pool of literate towns for Gamez to send out his messengers.

@pzelda who do you think we should vote for?

I find your analysis today really good and I agree on possible wolves. I'm still up to
vote: takhisis

Nothing he said so far helped town to win the game and as I pointed out there are this weird inconsistencies in Marcher's pursuit of Tak.
I want Tak over Golden Knight because GK gets some credit for pushing Jovian hard.
Jo is a great dark horse. Jovian voting for her yesterday could be last minute anti-spew. Jo never was the lynch there.

It is too late to turn back. I am looking for villagers, not wolves. You are a villager, if I believe your claim. In the absence of anything else I will have to do that, but I am still hoping that someone does some real work and clears someone else, whether that's you or someone else else, I'm good.

As of now, yes, me, Games, Pzelda, and you are my village.

I really want you to be my town, but you're making it difficult by changing your playstyle mid-game.
Gamez, TS and you are my town now with Jo and Golden Knight fencing at the gates. I know that's one too many, it means that scum's doing really well.

Even if you flip town, this actually could help because everybody seems to be walking in your shadow. It could force the wolves to speak up or be lynched. Thoughts anyone?

It's an interesting thought, but killing activity is one of the best weapons wolves have. So, Tim flipping town wouldn't be good.
