KnightTime I:
Rulers of the World;

What is this game about?

It is about several empires I have based on gaming clans who are trying to dominate the known world called KnightTime. Each of these clans is big and famous in some way and got good and bad things about them. In This game you can do ANYTHING you want within reason. You can make fancy regiments, create your own regimental leaders or whatever, create your own military medals and so on and so forth. Warfare in this game is based on the mid 1800’s so I suggest you study warfare in the World between 1840’s and the early 1870’s if you going to take this game seriously like myself or even just casually. I want to introduce you guys and gals to the nice world of Interactive History/World Alliance games. You roleplay as a individual leading a entire nation.

Rules:
In this game, warfare is based on the 1840’s onwards. Basically you can do whatever you want army wise. I suggest you learn about the property sizes of regiments and so on. You can create your own sizes of them as well.

You can create your or generals or use the real life players as them as well. I suggest you ask me and/or do research if needed on the clan you pick. Ducky from Aggony is a great TW online player, Lancy from KNT, while a friendly player, is not great skill wise. The player you send into better with lead troops a certain way depending on their gaming warlord skills. You may create a character, but they will not have much battle experience unless you state otherwise.

Be realistic when you do battles in this game. Your men will tire, especially with much luggage and over hills and in bad weather. They can and will die from sickness. They can and will desert if treated badly. Battles will cost you a lot of men if you order your generals, no matter how good they are, to attack enemy strong positions, say, trenches, with 50,000 men defending it, en masse with no skill or flanking. You may win the battle but you might lose 20,000 men in one day. The people at home might be happen to win the battle until someone leaks out how many of their young boys got killed due to your lack of tactical skill.

You must create morale. Make medals, you made make your own medals! If you are an artist or know one, make a picture of them! Make a picture of yourself in a Military Outfit, nothing wrong with that!

Fortress: Small- Small Fortress can cost 1 million talers to build (100K to start up if you wish not to pay all at once, but will delay progress until you do), can hold 1,500 soldiers for 3 years at best in theory supply wise. Takes roughly a year to build.

Medium- Cost 2 million to build and hold up to 3,500 troops (500K to start up) . Can last about 4 years. Takes 2 years to build.

Large- Takes 3 million dollars and 3.5 years to build (1 mil to start up). Can hold 7,000 and 8,000 troops inside, up to 6 years if well supplied and no civilians entered into it.

Economy:
Your economy will be a fragile thing. I will PM every player with what their nation does from a working standpoint and I will write it up in the first chapter.

Sign-ups:

Seems there's a few more sign-ups than last time. I still don't get how the economy works, nor do I understand if it's intended to be a wargame or a political simulation.

If I might offer a suggestion, I've found games tend to be more fun when you name names. 'S why I love Civ - Gandhi's more fun than a Gandhi expy. I don't quite understand the point of creating empires based on RL empires, if we're still playing in Europe. I'd be far more tempted to sign on as Russia than a "CW Empire". I'm sure there's a reason for the invented acronymic names; I just don't know what it is.

Still, I'll give this (what ever it is) a shot. Put me down for the HoS Empire.

One last question: The Kingdom of the Round Table Knights has, at the bottom of its stats,
Military Size: 200,000 men (100 talers a man)
Revenue: 50 million in revenue ( 30 million in expenses)

Whereas the HoS Empire has
Military Size: 325,000 troops (100 a man)
Revenue: 50 million talers (40 million used up)

What does the difference in wording mean?

I'll get back to you in the morning, going to bed now. It's one strange game but.... should not be to bad :D.

I have no clue what is going on. I would be interested, but you are making this a turnoff by not letting us name anything, and by not explaining how it works. I would be Aggony, but I don't want to be some random tard named Trooper. And I don't want to have to take some dude named Flamelord and his Kingdom of IPL-SC seriously.

As far as I now understand it, he is trying to carry on a game from somewhere else that he is now banned from.. hence the odd names.

You can take it over and rename the kingdom whatever you like. Want me to put you down as yourself in Aggony, you can change it to whatever :D.

Just something I came up with. The RTK is where the KNT is, a slight mishap. I figure give the HoS (France looking) a tad bigger force but RTK a bit more elite.
