Kyp's GMR Game (open sign ups)

I think it fair to ask everyone's opinion to revert a turn if Japan rushed PT with a GE and failed because of bad luck.

Why? That happens all the time in games - nothing special about losing out on a wonder when someone else is building it.

If he rushed it with GE, then the lost GE is so profound that early in a game. If he is building it, then he shall suffer.

If both are rushing it on the same turn, it makes sense to just revert a single turn, otherwise it's normal to lose a wonder.

I think it is totally an in-game situation.
When I rushed PT with GE, I noticed that China, Russia and Japan have completed liberty tree few turns ago. I fully understood the situation and took the risk that Songhai could lose their GE if other GE would be first in building PT.
There was no cheating and no rule was broken. So I don't suppose that we should revert the turn.

PS. In my other hotseat game as Persia my army managed to kill GG and half of invading army of the enemy civ within my one turn. The player who played that enemy civ grambled a lot and also tried to find an excuse to revert the turn when his GG was killed. He ceased to take his turn for a week. :sad:

Ok, it's a risk reward thing then. If the Japanese do not complain, we Russians are of course ok to proceed. After all, Russians should be happy that Japanese are weakened by that to some extent.

Askia is so anxious to sign RAs that he made the following promise:
First two civs which sign RA with Songhai will be gifted 50 pieces of gold each in order to partly refund the cost of sighning RA. :)
Askia also would like to mention that after entering Renaissance the cost of RA would be increased.

We dont want to spoil your deal, but Songhai should fund at least 100 to be remotely fair, given PT an rationalism opener.

we don't have Rationalism opener

Askia has not decided yet if Songhai will take Rationalism or religious tree.
And I am not certain that Songhai is wealthy enough to surplus 100 gold for every RA :)

Anyone know if turn order in hotseat games matters for wonder races like this (finishing same turn)? Or is it still the one with the most production?

Will i be the first one that will reach the virgin continent? 4 turns to go before Astro! Time to prepare an army of scouts.

We're working on a settler for our first coastal city....

@Kyp Durron:
Askia is grateful for Oda Nobunaga for signing RA with Songhai.

@Foffaren:
We have noticed that aztecs possess one unused resorce of marble. Askia can propose a resorce of silk for this marble for the mutual benefit of both nations.

This game has very competitive atmosphere, the REX, the rush and the war... So intense. The true warmonger rises on the stage, and who will be the target?

Songhai, Egypt and possibly Rome(?) are piled up on eachother they can protect each other I would belive. Anyone else is in the danger zone.

The crazy Chinese Empress Wu Zetian has decided to stir the pot. To war over the dead marshes!

Did anyone look at the military stats this turn? I meant Japan, but guess only Egypt and Russia care now.
